Pics aren't great, but I will say it definitely looks as if it's been recolored at some point

Thankyou so much, would this be a Turquoise or Teal? The lighting is really throwing me off.

Definitely dyed. Can tell by the lacing on the handles.

I'm with you on the dying job.
The handles look really off to me. No matter how warm the lighting may have been, they look just flat. Even the lacing looks wrong and plasticky.

Also, the corners of the bag in question look white-ish, like the paint is coming off. I personally would keep my hands off this bag. But that's just mho.

It’s an authentic bag though. And it’s not a complete colour change if it was painted/dyed. You can see the cracking in the edge coat along the top which hasn’t been touched up. You two have younger eyes than I do, calling in @fayden and @Conni618 for opinions.

I just got this bag from Yoogi's closet. This is my dream bag since college and I appreciate the vote of confidence from this community! Another question.. does the leather appear to be too dry? I read that 2013 wasn't a great leather year.

The code code is way off. I've noticed the color codes start from the darkest color (black = 1000), and get lighter as the number climbs. The blues are in the 4000s. Color code for Bleu Lazuli is 4313 (F season), as this other bag shows.

So is this 1631 color code on the mini city an anomaly (the F season part is correct), or do we think this is fake? Are there other glaring signs of fakeness I'm missing in the mini city?

We’re travelling today so I’m on my phone but I found two mini G12s on FP with the 1631 code and one with the 4313. If you look at the M in MADE IN ITALY on the 1631 bags the v in the centre of the M ( the two centre slanted bars) are shorter than they should be. The 4313 M looks OK.
I couldn’t find any other bleu lazili items with 1631, not even the SLGs that I found.
I want to take a better look on my Mac but as it stands I would say unable to authenticate. Frustrating isn’t it?
