IMPORTANT READ-ME

Please see post #1 for complete Balenciaga authentication rules. All requests must be posted in this thread. Authentications are not done via private message or in any other thread.

See the link below for examples of the photos needed and the format they should be in (clear, close up, forward-facing, no angles, right way up, no bends in tags).

https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/required-pics-for-balenciaga-authentication.741442/

A link to the listing in question is required.

It is an authenticator’s right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format. If the listing you are interested in is missing photos it is your responsibility to request them from the seller prior to posting in this thread.

Thanks and be well!

This is kind of nifty if it’s real.
I may have been wrong, it may be authentic. The tags are consistent with other bags I've looked at, but on the whole the font is different from any other Bals I know of. More research needed.

I suspect it's authentic, I may have been wrong about the one I said was fake, but the font on the tags is different than any other that I've seen.

I don’t think it’s fake.
I just got it! I'm okay with this risk and am super excited about it. I prefer the beige/straw color but that one was a sold one from a whole awhile ago. I crawled through the raffia posts and it looks like 2010 resort had a lot of raffia totes, so this probably came a little later!

Thank you both!!

When I was looking up the raffia Patrick trim last night I found this one that is the same in style but different in material. For reference.

The quality of the tag is exactly like what will be now mine, and the difference in the one digit between the 6 and 7 of the style number seems consistent between the three bags.

I agree with this. When I said the tag looks off, it was because of the font. But all the other bags from this line I've seen have this same "off" font.

Okay so she said she bought it around 2017/2018 in Capri for 900 Eur. It was not directly from Balenciaga, but a store that had a lot of the name brands sold at a discount....(it sounds like tj Maxx of sorts?). There definitely were a lot of raffia totes during 2017 resort collection, but I don't think this is from that. She said she doesn't remember the name of the store but she's sure it's real...
