Surprisingly, a 2014 mGGH black city that I got from ****** also has the H similar to dignatius's. I sold the bag to Fashionphile and no longer have it. When I bought it I did authenticate it here.

Hello s.tighe !!!

So glad to see you here & hearing your input.

Well, i hope im not just being over "sensitive". I was not able to authenticate the ME as i was comparing the tag of another ME of the same season, and also another same season tag.

Compare my attached photos to dignatius's. Im just gonna point out 1 differences. Just look at the "H" (which decode the season S/S2014). That was one of the off to me. Hope you can spot others too.

I struggled a while before suggesting dignatius to go for paid service.

Can please help to authenticate this . Many thanks [emoji4]

Regarding that pesky H tag, I have a hypothesis that I was thinking about through my entire workout tonight (which is great because it made the time pass faster!) then I came home looked for photos to back it up.

I think the s/s or earliest bags from 2014 (or less likely but perhaps, early bags from a particular factory) had the serif H stamp, and by fall everything had transitioned to the sans serif and became consistent. This would seem to make sense because when Bal started stamping the backs of tags with season letters, it was always that same serif font, and there were several changes in 2014. The following examples would seem to support this (as would Catash's black bag above and my mggh hip)

Reebonz is an authentic seller, so should not be a problem if you are buying new directly from them. If you don't feel comfortable with that, you can take the required pictures of the bag when you receive it, and post again. If I remember correctly, Reebonze should have a return grace period. Hth!

Will be appreciate if you could help me on this. The bag looks authentic to me but since this is my first bal, I would like to get a confirmation from the expert :smile1:
Many thanks :salute:

Thanks for the effort. Mystery solved. :p

Sorry - I don't usually pop in and i'm not saying that the bag is real b/c I'm not in love with a few details either and I'm definitely NOT an expert with the newer bags!! I agree that it looks like Cassis from the pics :)

With that being said...couldn't a possible argument be made for the many outlet bags / items have been sent to the outlets because something is "off" or wrong with them and they know they won't get full price in a boutique? So wouldn't there be a few bags that do have a few 'defects' per say? Like if someone made a mistake in the heat stamp and put the accent in the wrong place but didn't want to scrap an entire lot of what had already been stamped? The people in charge of the bottom line would rather get something for their mistake than lose all of it. So send them on down to the outlet stores and so on. They have made there way into TJMaxx, Marshalls, Off5th, Neimans Outlets, Ross and so on...and the Bal Outlets, of course. I've sifted through hundreds of these bags and they all seem to have issues...especially in the later years and each one was there for an obvious and different reason or mistake. I don't know, just a thought.

Yes, I'd call the boutique in the morning and see if the receipts match up, but I tell you...there are some insane superfakes and there are some very lousy authentic bags out there!! I don't think you'd want either one if i'm being honest so best to get your money back! Good luck! :flowers:
Thank you for your reply! I completely agree with your point, I didn't know it's bought from outlet at all before i try to acquire the bag... The seller stated the receipt was lost at the first beginning and by touching it, i believed it was genuine... as you see the bag is new and i paid a bit more than 700 euros to get it :( I guess i just wanted a red twiggy too desperately... I would never try to get it at all if knowing it's from the outlet. and yes, I contacted the outlet in italy, sent them the receipt (got later from the seller after suspecting her for selling fakes) with the pic.s of the bag, especially stressed the tag letter was wrong (thanks to the authenticators to point out) and got the reply, confirming the bag was bought from them, the right receipt, the right color, the right model!!!!! so YES! The bag is genuine, and it didn't make me happier... i just simply got a defected bag or an outlet special :( I didn't know balenciaga, like coach, started to make outlet special now :( even on my beloved twiggy model :( I feel sorry to confuse our authenticators here, with this outlet special bag, but as it's genuine, i cannot take it back. The only reason for return can only be fake bags. So i guess i have to keep it and be smarter next time :(

I don't think Balenciaga makes outlet bags like Coach. Perhaps yours is a defective bag that unfortunately ended up in the outlet. It is fine if you want to keep it forever. It will be hard to sell it because people may think it is fake.

FAKE to me. The word "FABRIQUÉ" on back side of serial leather tag should be accentuated in the "E" and not in the "I". And yes, the bale is off. Sorry.

Anyway I have to admit this is a very good SUPER FAKE!!. One of the best replicas I´ve ever seen
Hi aalinne, I am sorry to confuse you with this bag. I got confirmation from the outlet store and they confirmed the bag is bought from them - bal's own outlet in italy. I guess they started to make outlet specials now:( I am disappointed with them, i'd rather know the bag is fake and i can take it back :( i saw this bag has drawn attentions from several people here, now everyone knows why.

So just want to warn eveyone about the pop up of their outlet bags, which will only make authenticate more difficult... a little chat with the sales lady there, they carry not only twiggy, but also city model sometimes. i hope you guys dont meet those again. I myself will only stick to oldies from now on...

I hope they won't. but apparently they still have more twiggies to sell as when i ask if you sell twiggies, she quickly answered yes. And u r right, i have to keep it forever now :( :( i myself would already think it's fake with that stamping.

Thanks s.tighe for the posts! It does make sense and it's enlightening. I hope the differences only limited to the "H" tag and nothing beyond :p

In that case, the ME should be fine then ;)
