I see your point exactly! As I own several Bal range from 2006 to 2014, from leather quality and the make I cannot feel this is fakeit is as super shiny as my tournesole from 2013, as smooth as my envelope. Leather is slouchy in a natural way, feeling even better than my 2013 city (which is a bit dry...). I have contacted the seller, obtained her receipt, and the receipt points to the Bal outlet store in Italy, with original price of 700 euros. (Also stated no return or refund for outlet items). Therefore hard for me to believe it would be fake
I guess I am calling the outlet store to consult their tags...
Sorry - I don't usually pop in and i'm not saying that the bag is real b/c I'm not in love with a few details either and I'm definitely NOT an expert with the newer bags!! I agree that it looks like Cassis from the pics

With that being said...couldn't a possible argument be made for the many outlet bags / items have been sent to the outlets because something is "off" or wrong with them and they know they won't get full price in a boutique? So wouldn't there be a few bags that do have a few 'defects' per say? Like if someone made a mistake in the heat stamp and put the accent in the wrong place but didn't want to scrap an entire lot of what had already been stamped? The people in charge of the bottom line would rather get something for their mistake than lose all of it. So send them on down to the outlet stores and so on. They have made there way into TJMaxx, Marshalls, Off5th, Neimans Outlets, Ross and so on...and the Bal Outlets, of course. I've sifted through hundreds of these bags and they all seem to have issues...especially in the later years and each one was there for an obvious and different reason or mistake. I don't know, just a thought.
Yes, I'd call the boutique in the morning and see if the receipts match up, but I tell you...there are some insane superfakes and there are some very lousy authentic bags out there!! I don't think you'd want either one if i'm being honest so best to get your money back! Good luck!
