Can you not argue the case that, since they claim to have in-house inspectors who vet everything for authenticity, they should cover all costs if you produce an expert report that it's counterfeit? Their website states clearly that they check carefully for fakes. IMO you should be quite proactive in getting all of your costs back once you have a written confirmation that the bag is a fake.

Just a quick note. This bag is so clearly "off," that anyone on their site should immediately apologize for letting it get past them. It has the wrong model number on the silver tag.

Thank you, authenticators, for taking a look at my "new" purchase. It is from a Beverly Hills Consignment store, so sorry no web links.

Item Name: balenciaga City 2012 Rose Blush

Everything posted looks fine. To be completely confident, please post a photo of a bale in the correct "full width," position, and refer us back to your original post #7939.

This rose gold City is authentic in my opinion. :smile1:

Thank you Connie. Do you think the thread loss near the handle edge (in couple of the pictures) and the rose gold hardware faded color are normal? I don't have any experience with this color and hardware combination. But my Giant silver part time seems to be fine and doesn't have these two issues.

I have seen various threads about gold hardware fading...I'm assuming the same is true for the rose gold. As for the loose threads. If you mean the wispy threads sticking out from between the edge coating around the rivets at the base of the handles...that is more common than not once bags see some use.

You can check the various "care," threads for the hardware fading. Probably someone posting there about rose gold.

I will do more research on these two. Thank you again!!!

Also it seems to me that the, let's say "angle" at which the metal tag was photographed does a great job at trying to hide the upper stitching, no? Makes me think the seller knew *exactly* what kind of a bag they were trying to sell.
