I just bought an Alexander McQueen Leopard print scarf on Ebay that I am having my doubts on its authenticity because I can't seem to find the same shade of brown being sold anywhere online. I got it for a "decent" price because it does have a couple of rips. It measures approximately 50 x 50. One side of the tag was completely hanging off so I sewed it back on (quite obvious in the pic). Please help authenticate it. Thanks!

I'm sorry Simaria I've been laid up ill for 4 days. I promise I'll get it done tonight! Dragged my sorry body out of bed to go to work this morning which was an effort as the most taxing thing I've done since Wednesday is lay in bed with my iPad.

Mine looks a bit lighter in the photos but the light in my room is very bright! This style has been around for a good few years now, so there will be several colour variations about.

Thanks for posting your pics. The Ebay seller says she obtained the scarf from Nordstroms. I was able to confirm that at one point in time, Nordstroms did sell this exact scarf hue (pic attached). So you are correct, there were different hues sold in the Leopard print.

It feels so soft on my neck and it drapes nicely. The print matches exactly what I see on alexandermcqueen.com so I am going to wear it as an authentic scarf.

Nothing screaming fake at me, not 100% sure though. Size of the chiffon silk ones is 104x120cm I think.

The seller insisted it's authentic..
