Hi all,
I really hope someone can help me. I bought an Alexander McQueen scarf on eBay years ago and supposedly it's authentic, but now that I'm "wiser," I'm starting to have doubts. I never wore it and wanted to sell it, but wanted to make sure it was authentic first. If it's not, I'm not sure what to do, because I don't want to wear a fake or have someone else wear a fake (unknowingly). I will post the tag pictures first and if someone could suggest other photos I could take to help, I will.

Can we see pics of the whole scarf, close up of the edges, and any logo on the scarf please.
Yes, thank you for replying. It's hard to get good photos because the scarf is sheer. I don't see a logo on it that the other skull scarves have (one of the reasons I'm concerned it isn't authentic). Please let me know if more photos would help.

Wow, this scarf is so lovely! I can't tell you whether it is in fact authentic, but it is the S/S 2011 folklore print scarf. Very beautiful, sad to hear that you want to part with it! Nothing screams fake to me but it's not a scarf I'm familiar with so welcome any other opinions.
I have this scarf and it looks OK to me. There should be black and white striped "Q's" in all four corners (very subtle). No "Alexander McQueen" appears on the scarf. I bought mine from alexandermcqueen.com and I love this scarf!
Thank you for the replies! Yes, it is a beautiful scarf. I'm just nervous because I bought it from eBay and have had bad buying skills before. The only reason I'm looking to sell it is because I never wore it since I was so worried about getting it dirty, torn, etc. I think I rather buy a nice dress. The site I'm planning to sell it on authenticates as well but I don't want to embarrass myself. I did find the black and white Q's in the corners (didn't notice them before). I will let you know if there are any issues with my scarf's authenticity. Thanks again everyone!

I'm 99% sure it's authentic, the stitching, the logo and the tag seem legit, but of course you authenticators know better

Hello, I bought this scarf on a website called de.privatoutlet.com one month ago. It is a discounted online store selling well known or not-so-famous brands. The quality of their products are on and off depending on the brands but I never thought they would sell fakes until recently I start using my scarf.
The scarf is about 60x120-140cm, in ombre color from orange to yellow. I took off the care tag because it really get in the way of wearing the scarf. But I still keep it as in the pic. The scarf came with a black hard paper package which I no longer have. There was no paper tag on the scarf like some authentics I see in this thread. Please help me check if this is authentic. TIA!
