22, I bought myself a little nylon Coach pochette for $60 as I recall. I used to to DEATH, I have all these pics from that year with me clutching this little Coach bag. Eventually I let her go on eBay, but it was the first of many Coaches!

I was 14 when I got my first designer handbag (Dooney and Burke all weather leather saddlebag), but it wasn't until I was 26 that I got my first high end designer handbag (Fendi sequinned spy).

23...Burberry Shackle Hobo in Patent Leather.
I've been looking at the catelog and fell in love with that bag...looked at it everyday. I didn't think I would get it since I was still in school and I wasn't really into purses yet. 2 Months later, my parents surprised me with the bag as a present for my graduation! I was sooooo shocked!!! Keep in mind that my parents are just average people save hard and would never spend so much on a handbag, they actually went to the store in Union Sq., but it was sold out of the patent leather...and they had to order it from Texas, and have it shipped....that's a lot of work they put into this present. I was really the thought that counted. I  them.

23, last summer in Las Vegas.. My Mom and I were just looking for fun when she decided to get my one..

Since then it's been all downhill, I love love love to buy bags. But I am appalled at the young 12 and 13 year olds who run around with these expensive bags, don't know. Just seems wrong, IMO...

I must be a really late bloomer ... I just turned 27, it was Dooney & Bourke IT bag, th en Louis Vuitton, and then finally Hermes. All happened during 27. Gah, that was an expensive year :push:
