Here’s the nano Mayfair in taupe, and next to some other colors. Maybe this will help?

The flat card case on the left is also the taupe color.

Zoomed in. I don’t know that in person it seemed like a full-on pinky taupe but maybe it is? It definitely leans warm. Frankly I loved the color, and if they offered it in the mini Mayfair I’d probably own it by now. This I returned, bc as I recall, it wasn’t even sized to hold credit cards properly.

The pouch behind it is that gray color they had a few months ago, and the wallet to the bottom left was called like ‘smoke’ or similar. It was an even steely-er dark gray.

Love the AoL SLGs. The nano is cute, but it’s basically a bag charm.

I've found Aspinal a bit or miss but I like it's British (which t really pushes). They have (or perhaps had) their products made in many different factories so may be there's a consistency problem.

My friend showed me her Aspinal wallet and it was beautiful (at that time made by Launer) so I went to A Selfridges hoping to get her a bag (the Audrey) but it really wasn't up to it, so I bought her something else from a different dept.

It's hard to rate a new-ish contemporary brand that has a faux luxury heritage (there is a gambling club in Mayfair called Aspinals that's rather (in)famous). It defiantly has found a gap in the market and Duchess of Cambridge and other royals seems to like them. I wish Asprey could hire their marketing team.

My replacement bag arrived today and while the inside is fine, this time the outside looks off to me. The handle is slightly crooked and the whole bag seems wonky (the left side is not asymmetrical to the left). It also arrived with no tissue packing inside the bag, whereas my previous order did. I wonder if that damaged the shape in transit.

Does anyone else see the wonkiness here? I'm trying to figure out if my eyes are just playing tricks on me. Yes, I think the sides are poorly made. I see the wonkiness.
