you should ask your retailer to order a replacement ring for you. If they wont hellp, email tano directly.

joan, every stitch is a much roomier bag than inspired aesthetic. compare the measurements and youll see the difference.

hi! i looked at a past thread from 4/08 about how since the leather is handstained, bags in the same color might vary a bit... i was wondering if the green apple varies from a slightly-deeper, blueish-green to a more grassy, lighter green? my boogie seems to be of the latter! ^_^

the color does vary a bit, but not dramatically. Did you buy the green apple one from a reputable retailer, or from someone who doesnt know the difference between last springs lawn and this springs green apple? haha

TE, it looks kinda like a Sexbomb, but with 3 pockets, and it has a top zip and a zip pocket below the three pockets.

I tried to save it & post it but my AVG doesn't like it.

Hey TE - still drooling over the pre-fall tanos and had a question about the browns. It looks like there are a variety of browns this fall - in the crunch they have an espresso, but in a few bags (crash course, decked out) they have a cocoa. Is it a different leather, or why so many browns? I was never a fan of the truffle - too dark for me - but really like some of the styles they are showing in mink/cocoa, or whatever color that is. Thank you!!!

there are two new leathers for Fall- a nappa and a metallic feather weight . Espresso is being changed in production to a bit lighter and more reddish than was originally shown. It will be more like a chestnut.

I'm not TE, but yes, that is legit. It is Buxom Buddy in Lenny leather from Anthropologie. I have one just like it!

As far as I know there aren't really any Tano fakes out there. They are at a decent price point to begin with, so no one copies them. There are certainly bags that are "inspired by" Tano, but no fakes.

There is some variation in the color, but not a lot. It is a very distressed-looking leather, but it is super soft and supple. And it holds up very well.
