aww so YOU bought that bag! Sweet! I think its a one of a kind sample. That style has been made in many different leathers and has had lots of different names over the past few years- like bottle blonde, buxom buddy, sprung, hot flash... but that one doesnt have a name as far as I know. Any style # on the bag?

It looks like its made of diva distressed metallic suede in pewter. I have a bag in that color/material and its been tough as nails.

and Tokyo Diary...

TE, I don't suppose you have pics you can post of the differently named bags? (I imagine they were made with different leathers) I am SO obsessed now... it's really pitiful!:wlae::nuts: I love looking at all these pictures of beautiful Tano bags *sigh*

You mean pics of this particular style in the many different leathers and colors that its been made in over the years? That would take me quite some time to prepare...

Maybe if have some free time in the next evening or two I can put a few pics together for you.

yes, that's what I meant... :blushing: and OF COURSE I'd be most grateful but I don't expect you to get it done immediately. I think most on here are immensely grateful for your helpfulness and *I* am SUPER appreciative of what you do for us Tano-addicts on this board (and I suppose in your shop too). So, if you can, when you can... that'd be super-duper awesome  I love the Tano eye-candy!!!

I'm sorry if this has been answered, but I just received a grape chicklit. It was used and I knew it had wear, but do ALL colors wear the same? It looks like the color is wearing off in some spots. is that typical?

bbb123, without actually seeing your wallet its hard to judge... did you try giving it a shot with a leather conditioner like lexol? It may just be dry or faded.

The crunch leather is tanned twice- there is a base color, tan, and a top color, ie grape. As the leather breaks in, it will soften and the top color's shine will lessen and the color will gradually fade a bit, revealing more of the base color beneath it. Its meant to wear this way and get a cool vintage look in time. If you want to keep it looking more "new" you need to condition and spray it every so often.

sprung was made of cracked ice" leather- yours is made of diva suede. So although its the same body, it wouldnt have the same name. Ive been asked so many times about your bag - AFF had it for sale for ever- and honestly Im pretty sure it was a one of a kind sample.
