I'm looking for a description on the smog color. Is it just gray or does it have a slight sheen to it? A picture would help. Also, most of the store's you list as Tano retailers in Philadelphia are either closed or don't carry Tano anymore. Can you recommend some other stores for me to buy Tano's at? I'm particularly interested in the tumbleweed (4429). Thanks so much!

Greetings Tano Expert,
I am new to this forum and today bought my first Tano (after drooling for a long time)...a Tumbleweed in black. Now I really want a Boogie Bucket in the marine with black trim but I can't use those short straps. Do you think if I attached the long strap from the Tumbleweed to the Boogie it would work and look ok? I like the way the Tumbleweed looks with the two sorts of straps, so much so that I attached a long, matching Dooney strap to one of my Dooney drawstring bags and let the short strap hang in front. I just don't know if the thinner strap on the Tumbleweed will look out of place on the Boogie since no retailer around here carries Tano (I live a little south of Tampa FL) and I can't see a Boogie in person. Never wanted a blue bag before but I dream about that marine Boogie!

Sorry guys, ive been a WEE bit busy lately as you can probably imagine...
Pye, the leather on both straps will be markedly different and it wont look right- sorry! kacey- that style is from fall 2009 so its got to be hard to find one now in stores. Do a google search or try ebay, maybe?

Joan, I recognize the bag but dont recall the name offhand. When I get a chance I will try to pull it up through my archives if you are still interested.
Leather baby, apple is great, but try a small spot unseen and wait 24 hours before applying it to a tano or any other bag just in case it doesnt agree.

Yes, ive seen it. Its very pretty and turq ALWAYS does well for Tano.

It would be turq all over- not 2 toned.

Havent seen the tumbleweed bag made up in volcanic ash but Im sure it will look GREAT.
I would assume the HW would be silver but you just never know with Tano. That bag is washed, so it might have to be brass (apparently silver doesn't wash well...)
