I wouldn't have guessed she was a size 16...she doesn't look it to me but then again, the size of a person's dress doesn't really mean much.

now if they were featuring a woman who was morbidly obese I'd agree with you but if she's a larger girl who still looks attractive, I think it's fine

Well there are 3 different covers with 3 different types of bodies represented which I think is cool. Is it about turning it into "everyone is beautiful in their own way" or about breaking the mold of the standard beauty type?

Agreed, it's as if they are making apologies for throwing crumbs. The qualifier isn't necessary at all. She's a woman that, resembles most women, from what I understand, in terms of her size.
