I’m back with another artist! His name is Max Brownawell and he is based in New York City. You can check out his Instagram @maxpaintsbags. It seems like he just started painting bags 2 years ago, so compared to the other artists I mentioned, he hasn’t posted much to his Instagram.
He paints a lot of animals, and his various artwork is Asian inspired:

I recognize that fish clutch! It belongs to a tpfer. I can see how she loves it more now that it has the wow factor.

We are talking about luxury handbags and renowned artists with a growing career like the great examples in this thread. It’s clear that art is not suitable for everyone and paint the bags to turn them into unique pieces is not for all too.
If someone request a bespoke bag with the face of her dog or children, the value is very personal. On the other hand, if it’s a generic theme like flowers, I don’t see any complication to sell it. The price will depend on what the buyer is willing to pay.
Creativity is endless and if someone acquire a special bag is to enjoy it, be happy and admire it as part of their private collection. Nobody needs to be a celebrity to feel different and proud to carry a painted bag.

I love Max's work especially. Beautiful! If I had the funds he'd be my choice for painting an H bag. In the meantime, I've been debating having my DBF paint a bag for me…
This is the first bag and the only bag I've painted so far. It's very rudimentary at best but it's a start.I'm so glad I've found this thread for inspiration!

I repainted and changed the top bag.This is the first bag and the only bag I've painted so far. It's very rudimentary at best but it's a start.

This lady did my LV speedy for me about 4 years ago. The paint job has held up to very frequent wear and never came off in any way. She worked on my bag 4-5 years ago and seems from her instagram to still be active. She was (years ago) extremely affordable, like bargain basement cheap lol although it did take a long time to get the item back. She does anything you want and works with you on a mock-up before she starts. No affiliation, don't even know her beyond the bag from years ago.

Ten Hundred has done some customizations. There's a link to a video on one project in the Bag videos on Youtube thread. His style is influenced by, among other things, manga/anime and street art.
