I'm sorry to hear that! But it sounds like it was the right decision for you. Have you considered getting the legacy flap or the legacy shoulder zip? The zip is the next size down and it just may be the perfect bag for you.

I am in the market for a smaller and sleeker black bag too, mokoni. I have the shoulder in natural and I love it but for my black bag I'd like to have something a little less bulky looking.

Good idea about the shoulder zip, pomplit. I have not seen it IRL. I'm trying to decide between that one, the black Carly demi, or maybe even the medium Carly.

Here's a photo of my black Legacy Shoulder Zip -- it's my favorite bag ever. You should really consider getting one! Plus, I ordered the black leather Carly Demi on Friday so hopefully I will have it sometime this week. I'll post photos of it as soon as I get it. I am such a black bag whore. :shame:

I had the shoulder zip at one point, but returned it because the shoulder bag was more me. BUT... the shoulder zip is a great bag, and it's surprisingly roomy. I was surprised because it looks like a small bag, but it's really not. I'd say go for the zip if you're interested in it. It's a cute bag and pretty roomy.

Oh Lordy, talk about having a problem --> me. ROFL I have a huge problem with the shoulder bags. I have a whiskey one, got a black one a few weeks ago, and just ordered another one in pond. What in the world am I going to do with all 3 the same? :shame: But I love them! I'm a total shoulder bag whore.

mokoni - thanks for the pic of the shoulder zip. Very pretty! I'm especially glad to hear that it is surprisingly roomy. I am really looking forward to your review and pics of the demi too! I think I should hurry up and decide (or maybe bite the bullet and order both?) Neither of the coach stores by me have either of them in stock.

pomplit - I've officially got the Coach bug and it's getting worse since I discovered this forum. I moved away from Coach about five years ago because I thought the quality had gone down hill. I just rediscovered it before Christmas. So far I've purchased 2 shoulder bags (Whiskey for my daughter and Natural for me), the mohagany medium pebbled leather carryall (for me), the signature stripe wristlet (for me) and the pond wristlet (for daughter). I'm craving more, I tell ya! More, more, more! Yep, it sure is fun!
