Mokoni, congrats! Love the black. I am about 5'5, I like how this bag looks on me. I tend to like large bags but found they were getting too heavy and my shoulder would hurt after awhile.

I just got this bag this morning and carrying it to work I thought it was very cozy. I'm 5'6 and I thought it looked nice. I also am not use to carrying smaller bags but this thing can hold lots!

You should really keep it. I have the Ali in Whiskey and the Legacy Shoulder
bag in whiskey. I do not consider the shoulder bag a large bag. The Ali is a large bag and it does hold alot.

I think it looks fantastic on you! You're stylin! For some reason I tend to think that things look bigger on me than they really do, I've just always been that way. So maybe it just looks bigger to you, when other people see it and think it looks fine. 
But seriously, you look great with the shoulder bag. 
BUT... that being said - if you are truly not happy with it then return it. Because it's too much money spent on a bag that you're just unsure of and not always happy with. And besides, if you really don't like it then it's money that you could always put towards a purse that you really love. Just give it a few days and check it out again and see how you feel about it. I do think it looks great on you though!

no, i like the size of it on you! it looks a little less 'bulky' in the lighter color shown in one of the posts above though. i can see what you mean, but its 'in'.
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for the help and compliments. Sadly, though, I decided not to keep it and I listed it on eBay last night. I carried it once over the weekend and it was way too bulky for me. I am used to carrying a smaller and sleeker bag and it just didn't feel right. I am so bummed because I sooo wanted to love this bag. 
I'm sorry to hear that! But it sounds like it was the right decision for you. Have you considered getting the legacy flap or the legacy shoulder zip? The zip is the next size down and it just may be the perfect bag for you.

I am in the market for a smaller and sleeker black bag too, mokoni. I have the shoulder in natural and I love it but for my black bag I'd like to have something a little less bulky looking.
Good idea about the shoulder zip, pomplit. I have not seen it IRL. I'm trying to decide between that one, the black Carly demi, or maybe even the medium Carly.
