Are you a Kelly girl or Birkin girl and why?

I only have birkins. I am dying to buy a kelly but am scared it will be too formal for me. I did get to try a 35 togo kelly recently and really liked it, so that might be the kelly for me. I wish the stores had more stock to try on.

Birkin all the way. My first H bag was Birkin and since then I've moved into Exotics. Not liking the look of a supple Kelly, but thinking rigide is way too formal for my age - it's definitely Birkin! Maybe if I am older, I'll warm up to Kelly.

Birkin. I need to have easy access, and the Birkin looks so good with the top open! Personally, I don't think I have enough class to pull off a Kelly.

I have neither...but am both a Kelly and Birkin Girl!

Especially now that I have seen photos of a Retourne/Souple Kelly, which to me, looks a bit less "formal." My dream is to have a camel Birkin with PHW and a black Kelly with PHW. For work I could use both...but on the weekends, I'd probably use the Birkin more. Unless going somewhere nice for dinner, etc.

I am not sure if the 'lack of quick access' of the Kelly would bother me...probably if I was shopping and digging for my wallet alot. But other than that, I can't think of it being an too much of an issue.

I love both, well HACs and Kellys but I'm a guy so i only look at the larger scale.

I use my Birkins more often than my Kellys so I guess I am a Birkin girl. Birkin is easier to carry than Kelly with the flap open. I can't do that with Kelly because of its single handle.

I am both. I zigzag between the two depending on the mood I'm in and the outfit I'm wearing. If I feel particularly ladylike (I'm a tomboy through and through), I reach for my Kelly.
