Are there two different kinds of leathers on giant silver city bags?

Sorry if this is a DUMB question. I saw two black giant silver city bags yesterday. The leather appeared different, and they were different prices. One was in Bergdorf. The leather looked distressed and slightly shiny. It was $100 more than the one in Barneys, which seemed more matte and less distressed. I liked the one in Barneys better and believe it was Arena leather, although I am not 100% positive. Does anyone have any insight on this. Thanks.

I think it is the department stores priced the giant City differently. Bal SGH City just has one price but the leather may be different bag by bag.

Thanks - this helps! The Bergdorf one may have just had more wear and tear on display and in the store. Not surprising the pricing is different - I notice that on clothes, too - Bergdorf marks up.
