Are Good Fakes Okay?

This may sound like a stupid question, but are good quality fakes okay to buy? I wouldn't overpay for something that's not the real thing, and I wouldn't buy anything illegal, but I mean, just as far as quality goes, if it's really hard to tell if it's real or fake, it must be pretty good quality, right? I'm wondering because I see a lot of discussion about how to tell if something is real or not. Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm new!

There is no such thing as a good fake. Because you and other avid purse lovers across the world would know its fake. So you would just be trying to fool yourself. Just wait until you can afford it. It feels so much better that way.

No, the simple answer is NO.
No, it's never okay to buy an illegal counterfeit good.
It's never okay to support people that steal other people's intellectual property or designs.

There's no such thing as a "good fake" - it's an oxymoron.
