Thank you!i am more biased towards the dbty as the diamond presence is more obvious? The cartier pc seemed to have a bigger “frame” round the diamond hence it might sort of take away some attention from the diamond itself?

I just ordered a beautiful new DBTY-style necklace on Etsy! I got it in YG to match my bracelet that I have. It's a 0.12ct diamond, G Color VS-SI Clarity - for around 1/10th of the price of the Tiffany equivalent! I paid £160 
can't wait for it to arrive! I was debating between WG and YG for a few days, but decided on YG as I thought it would make the diamond pop.

I prefer the bottom one. The diamond just stands out that much more.
I have the 5 diamond bracelet from the collection and I LOVE it. The only thing I don't love is that it's scratchy on the skin. under the diamond. Does anyone else get this?

I’ve heard that the bezel set diamond by the yard necklace flips a lot? For those of you who own one is that true? What carat weight is your diamond? Is this issue less common with larger carat weights?

Updating this to say I still wear my DBTY-style bracelet that I had made by an Etsy jeweller! I managed to break one of the rings on it so I had to have it repaired by my local jeweller. It looks beautiful with my Love and I don’t actually mind that they intertwine with each other as they move. Every so often, you get a glimmer of a diamond from underneath the love and it looks beautiful
Does anyone have a DBTY or Diamant Legers/Cartier d’Amour necklace in a white metal? I think the appearance of silver, WG, or platinum helps diamonds look larger.

The DBTY is in Platinum while the Diamant Legers is set in WG. Personally I feel like PT is darker and more grey-ish than WG which really shines brightly. However, I much prefer PT over WG since WG is rhodium plated, which can wear off over time. I have a RG and a PT DBTY and the PT one looks definitely much "cleaner". My RG is in .17 ct which is has a thicker bezel than the PT .20 one I have. The RG DBTY looks larger due its thicker bezel. I also have a Cartier d'Amour RG bracelet in 0.09ct. I feel like the diamonds in the DBTYs are much sparklier than the Cartier d'Amour, however the Cartier one has a thicker (more substantial) chain, which I prefer in a bracelet. If I were to choose a necklace again, I'd say PT DBTY > RG DBTY > Cartier d'Amour, which is also my rating for the shininess of the diamond.
I find the Cartier d'amour a bit overwhelming with its thicker, sparklier chain and its setting, which I prefer in a bracelet but dislike in a necklace.
However, the PT DBTY one pokes a bit (the diamond is sticking out in the back). Personally I don't mind, but if you have sensitive skin, I'd get either a smaller diamond in PT or the RG in a thicker bezel (DBTY in RG with a diamond size up to 0.17 have a thicker bezel than the ones set in YG or PT. Also DBTY in Silver have a thicker bezel, but not sure about the diamond size there), or the Cartier d'Amour, which has no poking problems at all.
