Are diamond studs "too much" for a 4yr old?

My opinion is this:I would definitely get my daughter jewelry for her birthday!
Why don't you get her birth stone this year and maybe diamond studs when she turns 5?
I don't think it's over the top as long as they are small and not overwhelming.
Also,as long as she can keep it safe.I start teaching my kids to treat their stuff well from when they are little...go ahead and treat your princess:tup:.

I have a 6 month old daughter who has pierced ears. Right now I think that diamonds are too much for a 4 year old, though I could change my mind when my little one is 4 :shrugs:. You are her mother so the decision is yours. I would be inclined to lean towards her birthstone, but since you are looking at higher end earrings, I would suggest you reseve them for special occasions (church/synagogue/mosque), parties.

I don't think its too much. When I was little my mother gave me a pair of cluster diamond earrings (three round brilliants on each ear). They were small and delicate, but I felt so special and grown up when she gave them to me. Also because they had been her grandmother's, so I felt very responsible being given something like that and I think it actually made me more conscientious and less rowdy. I recall I was about 6 years old or so.
