I was never a fan of the fabric or logo bags, but I love some of their new lines. That's why I'm browsing this forum
I think there's a level of respect for any quality leather bag. I've had Coach, MK and some unknown brand leather bags and they draw compliments and questions. As for the people who turn their nose up at Coach because it's "out", they don't know what they're missing. Nothing feels as good as a bag you love, regardless of what others think.
The only bag that should not get respect is a fake/replica IMO.

That's a good question. I respect Coach and want to buy from the company since it is an American company. I have for some time lost interest in the bags because it is ridiculous to pay full price and then see it in an outlet for a lot of money less plus I didn't like some of the styles. Saying that, I love my Boroughs-the grey one and the blue/white one. Plus I have others that are older and the leather is still beautiful . I also have Italian designer bags that I wonder why on earth I paid what I have for them. I love Mulberry and I love Coach and it matters not one bit to me what people think about my Coach. If they have a problem with a brand it's their problem and they are missing some beautiful bags.
I hear do many people say that MK is "in" and Coach is on its way out, yet Zi find it amusing that these same folks stop me every day to drool over my bags and them are shocked to find out they are Coach.

I have a few people in my circle who have said they are not fans of coach and would never buy it.
Then they see my Coach leather bag and ask what brand it is because they absolutely love it.
Always makes me smile when I tell them it's Coach 😊
It seems no matter how much they try they cannot get rid of the image of the khaki bag with the Cs on it from people not in the know. I always get that shocked reaction from people when they find out my leather bags are made by Coach
And, way back in the day, coach only made leather bags. And darn fine ones, too! I've only come back to buying coach since they've come back to making leather bags.
I carry everything from Coach leather bags to a Birkin and it's the leather Coach bags that get the most compliments. The moral of this story is, it isn't what you wear, it's how you wear it.
I remember when I was a "Tween", my mom had this leather Coach wallet that she proudly bragged about because back then (in the 80's), Coach was like the epitomy of really good (and pricey) leather bags and wallets.
Its really nice to see that we're going back to that coz all those counterfeit Siggy bags littering China Town is totally crapping all over their brand.
Pretty much ever conversation I have overheard about Coach always comes down to "the bags with the Cs all over them". It amazes me how many people who aren't fashion fanatics think that's all Coach makes.
My mom passed down to me her first Coach wallet from the 80s. It is in mint condition seeing that she took care of her stuff. It is made out of buffalo hide and has a soild brass kisslock closure change section. I have had it for almost 10 years and it is still in a dustbag and in a box. I am deathly afraid to ever use it.
