I regret to say, but I am wondering why this seller is selling a nearly brand new bag for $5K or Best Offer. They sell for much more. I cant say I am comfortable, and I cant tell if all these pictures are from the same source. They are still hard to see, especially the detail interior pictures in the actual auction. Call me cautious, but I personally would not be in active pursuit.

Thank you, I respect your opinion and you've given me a lot to think about. I share your concerns and I'm going to sleep on it and decide what to do in the morning. Thanks again, you and all the authenticators here on tpf are awesome.

Seems authentic in my opinion, and I would agree it looks like Bleu Hydra.

I just saw this auction, did a search and found your authentication. I am still a bit concerned about the stitches on the tab in the picture showing the blind stamp and the one showing the button. The stitches look uneven and strange. Is it just the bad craftsmanship or a red flag? I also don't understand the many markings of the blindstamps. Could you please enlighten me?

Thank you in advance.

Happy to look again, but you will need to tell me what bag it is, thanks.

Hello! I realize you are a new member here. Please read the first post which states our guidelines, which include the explanation that we do not authenticate bags unless there is a link to a public sale. We don't give private authentication on this thread.

I searched eBay for blue Evelynes, guessing from your comments that this might be the model.

I found this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hermes-Evelyne-Blue-Excellent-Condition-/171034242021?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item27d26f6be5

from the seller theresas521.

I have looked at the things you mention. Although the stitches are a little uneven, they are not uncommon for the hand stitching of Hermes. I see no troubling aspects about the bag in the pictures presented. I remain of the view that the bag is authentic.

The stamps you mention are combination of craftsman and atelier stamps. They are simply internal identification marks at Hermes.

Thank you so much, bababebe, you are super! This is the bag I mentioned.

I have once purchased a fake Evelyne and got burned from then on so now whenever I see uneven stitches, I feel uncomfortable.

Thank you again.
