Loose threads that I worry about. I tie my twilly real tight and worry that it was my rough hands that damaged the kelly handle....:shucks: I hope all this talc I have for her is genuine as I believe the bag is suppose to be.

Hi Bababebi,

Thanks for your insights as well. Yup, I agree that pristine vintage pieces are a rare find and usually oldier bags will have signs of use inside. I greatly appreciate your help in helping me sort my thoughts!

Agree with mistikat about price on the somewhat high side. A loose turn lock does not necessarily have to be replaced though, they can and do loosen over the years. It does not mean they will fall off. If you like a bag with a pristine interior then it's worth bearing in mind that most oldier bags have signs of use inside. Just something to think about.

This is my first time considering a Birkin purchase from a reseller but this is the exact combo I have been looking for for a few years now. Most of my bag purchases have been from the boutique so I am quite nervous about this purchase! I have never heard of anyone having a problem with Malleries but I would still like to get your opinion. Thanks in advance!!!

Item: Hermes Orange Epsom Leather Birkin 35 Cm Bag Handbag Phw
Listing number: MAL2622103209
Seller: Malleries/ The Fashion Bin

Comments: the leather "tabs" where the handles are sewn to the bag look odd to me- I have a few Birkins and these seem to be a more elongated shape than on mine.

In my opinion it is authentic. That was my opinion on viewing the pictures originally. For your additional peace of mind, I just took a picture of the back handle attachment of my own Courchevel Birkin, a few years older, to check it. I do not have any concern. The sellers picture is not quite straight on, which gives the slight illusion of length.

The first few pictures are rather over exposed and the leather is rather hard to see. Remember this bag isnt new, so if you want to ask specific condition questions before purchasing it is always a good idea.
