Thanks Bababebi for your help! I love my 1st Kelly that you authenticated for me last yr. I decided to send this bag back to the seller. They are so many demages that she did not diclosed.

LOL.. agree! I was in shocked when I got her.. OMG the rip, loose stitches and cracks. I just got back from the postal office. I returned to the seller and get my full refund. I guess that i need to wait for the next perfect Kelly.
Dear Bababebi,

I purchased a m stamp, black, togo kelly size 32 gold hardware from a local reseller who has been conducting reselling business in a busy shopping mall in my city. The reseller's store name is "Rome Station" and website is under construction: www.romestation.ca the store has been open for 2 years now and sells many many Hermes handbags over and beyond retail or resale prices I have seen online. They move inventory quite fast as i frequent the store to speculate weekly. My one and only purchased kelly from them seems to have some small threads loosening at the handle where it connects to the top of the handbag where the gold hardware ring is as well (in the loop). My question is if this is normal for Hermes quality from 2009? I can post a photo if my request is ok for response. I am attempting to take my kelly in to my local Hermes store for request of "spa" services I have been reading/learning about in this forum. But I am afraid if the loose threads and the fact that I purchased from a reseller may tarnish my relationship with my SA at Hermes. I have built my customer file to the point where I can apply for birkins and Kelly's.... In the past I have purchased a few more common handbags from my local Hermes store and I really do not want to give them a bad impression if my kelly is questioned to be non authentic. Please advise oh great and wise one! 👐

This is frightening how many scams there are. I guess it's always smart to validate the sellers identity in case they do sell you a phony! As they say it is too good to be true! I just discovered this forum as I have recently began collecting Hermes accessories and finding the content in here very useful. Reading for the last two hours in bed and feeling quite enlightened! Thank you all! ✌

Hi and welcome. This thread is for questions of authenticity about specific bags. If you have a bag you would like assessed, please read the first post in this thread for information on how it should be posted. Thanks.

Item: white 35 birkin Clemence
Seller: private reseller
Year- 2013- Q

Hi there. So I just purchased this brand new birkin from a private reseller. I own one other birkin and everything matches except the bottom of the bag. From the front and sides you can see the bottom and on my Togo birkin you can't. Can you please help and tell if it looks real.
First time poster
Thank you

Ps this post will only let me post 1 Image at a time

Hello, I know you are new, but it's a good idea to take a look at our first post on this thread for all our guidelines for posting.

As it says there, we don't give authentication on any bag without a link to a public sale. We don't provide private sale authentications.

If you are planning to seek authentication elsewhere you will need better pictures as well, these are insufficient.

Hello bababebi, or Mistikat, can you please help me authenticate this ebay listing? The seller says item is bought from Dubai and swears it is authentic. There is also a receipt. It seems good to me but you guys may have a different idea.

here is the item

Please reread the first post in this thread for reasons some requests may not receive a reply.

Thanks.

Item: Auth HERMES Taurillon Clemence Kelly 32 Handbag Gold Hardware/Gold
Listing number: 161017162741
Seller: bradrossmagic

Is this authentic? thanks

I think that it probably is. If the seller had posted better and less blurry pictures I could have been more forthcoming about it. I would like a picture that is in focus of the engraving and the blind stamp please.

I'm also a little bit concerned by the feedback. No selling since (I think) 2006, and then a series of odd and small purchases.

Hi,

Item: EXTREMELY RARE VINTAGE HERMES Kelly 32 Veau Graine Couchevel Toile H
Listing number: N.A
Seller: kkovershopped from Deluxemall
Link: http://deluxemall.com/hermes/126719...s-kelly-32-veau-graine-couchevel-toile-h.html
Comments if any: N.A

Thank you.

I think the bag is authentic, but seller does not discuss the marks on the inside flap. Price seems high to me for a bag this old with a loose turnlock and issues with the interior. Courchevel is difficult to refurbish, and Hermes won't work on the inside of the bag in any event. If you are seriously interested, ask for better photos of problem areas, including the interior.
