Dear valued authenticators, can someone please take a look at the bag above and give an opinion? I have bought quite a number of authentic vintage Helmut Lang items from this seller and was wondering if this Lakis would be authentic too? Thank you so much for volunteering your time. And would this price be fair for its condition? And also I saw that the listing indicated that it comes without a strap and yet the first couple of photos shows a strap?

I strongly suggest that you call them and ask about the strap. This could be an error that it was not mentioned and at this price, it should be included. The pix are not great , but I think it is most likely authentic. It is a heavy bag and you need it. The Lakis is an expensive bag when new. You need to decide what you want to spend for it.

This is authentic. Rose Jaipur is a beautiful color, not as orange as some of the sellers pictures show.

The auction now has a Best Offer feature, this is a change from the previous format. The seller is inviting reasonable offers on the bag.

Hi, here is another. I've asked for more pictures and waiting for a reply. This bag price is a bit more reasonable, but the seller has a lower rating (looks like she has not had any ebay activity since 2011. that might not be an issue for me).

This would be an issue for me though. We never recommend buying from sellers with zero selling feedback. The pictures are insufficient.

Based on what I see here, my view is that the Kelly is authentic and its features are consistent with the date in the sellers description. Marks on the outside as described and expected in a bag of this age.

Comment: I am not sure if the number of pictures are sufficient. Seeing that it is O stamped, does it mean it is a picotin lock version? Can't see from the picture if it is lock version or not.

This looks authentic but if you note, the listing says no lock, and I'm not sure it is the Picotin Lock or it was, and this one just doesn't come with a lock. You should ask the seller if you are serious about buying it.

Be very sure of the size - the TPM is really really small as you can see by the photo positioning it next to the can of soda.
