Comments: I saw the link to this bag in the 'post ebay/web deals' thread and I know the seller is highly recommended, but since this is my first GP I want to be 100% sure of its authenticity because I can't wait to use it! If you could also advise of the exact color and leather that would be great. I'm also adding just a few additional pictures because I think the listing has most of the required ones but if more are needed please let me know. Thank you!

Perhaps not everyone is familiar with the guidelines for this thread which are contained in the first post on page #1. Please read them and if you have made a request recently and not received a reply, perhaps the reason is here below:


Reasons why some requests may not be answered:

- It is the preference of the authenticators on this thread not to give authentication to members who buy and resell bags.
- It is also the preference of the authenticators to comment on current, not closed, auctions and sales.
- it is the preference of the authenticators to give authentication to members who post in a range of threads, not just requesting free authentication for designer items.
- We will not authenticate for those who post photos only and cannot provide link to a live online auction/sale.

In addition it says this:

PICTURES: All these pictures are required for all authentications.

Essential views for authenticating Hermes bags on the PF.

- Front view of bag
- Back view of bag
- View of bottom of Bag
- Zipper & its end
- Hardware
- Craftsman stamp
- Hermes stamp + Top stitching
- Clear picture of the interior lining
- Base of the handles
- Side view of the strap guides
- Lock and key set, including numbers on keys and at the base of the lock

If the pictures are inadequate, authenticators may skip your request.

This means that if there are two pictures of a bag your request will be skipped.

If your request is not answered here, for whatever reasons, professional authentication services are available outside of PF.

I don't know if the above post is referring to me, but I only included three pictures in my post because the listing already had the other pictures. If the request needs to include pictures taken by me in addition to the ones in the listing I will add my own pictures to my request.

I really am sorry, but this is a closed sale. We comment on current sales, as it states above highlighted in bold. As you pointed out originally this is a reputable seller who is an esteemed member of this forum.

I dont know what happened to all the pictures, I only see five. I see no concerns in these, but they arent adequate to authenticate the bag properly.

Pictures are insufficient and taken at odd angles, seller has private feedback, which is a red flag for me, and a seller with the same name had fakes on Bonanza.

Not worth it, in my opinion.
