Hi, can someone please authenticate this Hermes togo gold Kelly 32 bag for me? I bought it from a online reseller and would like to make sure it is authentic. Thanks in Advance!

I contacted the seller and specifically asked if it has been re-dyed and the only answer I got is 'Custom order' - followed up but still waiting for a response. Not sure what to do...

Yes, it is authentic. Not sure why the handle is wrapped in a twilly though. Seller implies the bag is unused.

However on this occasion I am replying, because this bag is not authentic, and I am concerned that someone might buy it.

Item: Togo leather white 30 birkin
Seller: My friends friend who says the bag belongs to her mom who ordered it of of eBay from a reputable seller

I am supposed to meet up with her tomorrow. She said she also has a black 35 birkin that she will send me more detailed pictures of later on tonight but for now she sent me these pictures of the white one. She has a receipt and the box for the black because it was purchased by her mother in Paris from the hermes store. However the white one is missing all of this because her mom ordered it from eBay. She is selling the white it to me for $6000 and the black for $8000.

Any help would be appreciated.

She had informed me that the price is lower because her nail took off a strip of glue from the handle of the bag as you can see in the pictures.

There are plenty of authentic bags out there being offered by reputable sellers if you can't or won't get a bag at an Hermes store.

If you are serious about buying a resale bag, can I suggest that you take the time to educate yourself who the reputable sellers are and why? It is dangerous to meet an online seller with the kind of cash that was being asked for in the Kijiji listing, hoping that you will be able to tell in person if the bag is legit.

I'm very new to this. I havnt yet done research on online reputible resellers because in canada they charge a rediculous customs fee if you purchase from out of the country. It would be great though if you could point me towards a reputable seller. I would very much appreciate that. Or even maybe recommend a thread where i can acquire this information. I agree that I need to further educate myself on the options that are available to me.
