I use both..the Rain & Stain and the Leather Care Conditioner, but I've never tried the actual Leather Cleaner. I've used the Conditioner first if the leather seems really dry, then I've sprayed with the Rain & Stain. I use both on my Legacy bags and have had no problems at all with color change. I did make the mistake of not spraying my Legacy Walnut Shoulder bag, although I had conditioned her twice before taking her out, and she got some spots from a little rain we were having. The spots have blended in, but I know they are there :crybaby: The rest of my Legacy bags have been sprayed and conditioned and are just fine  So if anyone is afraid to use the Apple products on their Legacy bags, please don't be...these are the very best products! I have used them on the following colors of Legacy Leather: Camel, Whiskey, Walnut, Raisin, Black and Clay (this color took to the Apple Conditioner the best!! The bag had scratches all over it, now you'd never know it had any!!)

Sorry for the long post..but I LOVE Apple products!!

Thank you for this post! You answered the questions I had about using it on the Legacy leather colors. Thanks a bunch - I'm going to run up to my local Burlington to see if they have it.

I have a question. Am I suppose to get the Apple Care or the Kit with the Apple conditioner in it? I see some post here about the Apple care and then some that call it Apple conditioner. Is there a difference? Which am I looking for exactly?

Either is fine. I only bought the conditioner since it gently cleans as well as protects so I did not feel I needed the kit w/ the cleaner. When most people talk about Apple on here they are talking about the conditioner, which is called "Apple Leather Care".

So I'm happy to hear that there is something that is safe to use on my wine colored leather bleeker duffle. I'm ordering the conditioner right now, but I really want to waterproof it too. Have any of you bleeker owners used the apple rain and stain repellent on them as well with no problems, or is only the conditioner safe on them?

Thanks, that answers my queston perfectly! I got confused because people on here call it conditioner. So I did not just see the conditioner on the Apple site. Thanks so much! Off to order now.

Megstar, you should be able to use a protectant on your Bleecker without issues. Lots of girls on here have had great results with the Apple Rain & Stain. I also have had good luck with Wilson's protector spray.

How 'bout the vintage leather on the ergo? Is the Apple friendly to this leather too? I never conditioned the bag (in my avatar) but I just got my major scratch :crybaby:so I think of applying apple on.

Bunny - I second the smell issue with Apple care. I just applied Apple care to my new Brigit and it smells foul - almost like glue. Yuk!

...wondering if applying the Coach moisturizer over the Apple will make a difference?

So, can you use the apple conditioner on suede? I have a blue coach bag with suede on the bottom and I wore it yesterday and I happened to notice that there was a spot on it. It was white. Not sure what it was but I would like to know how to get it off.

Thanks. I appreciate it.

No, you can't use the conditioner on suede. You can use the rain guarde spray on it though to protect it from rain and future stains. I haven't ever successfully gotten a stain out of suede, although I'm sure someone knows a trick.

So I took the risk and I used the Apple conditioner on my berry sabrina. They say not to use the Coach moisturizer on it, but I'm guessing that because of the silicones. After it dried, I used the Rain spray as well. She looks great. The color never rubbed off and it doesnt look any darker now that its dry. And although it did smell putting the conditioner on, the smell faded very quickly and you can't tell at all now, still has that yummy leather smell.
