Yes. That is why i pay such horrendous premiums. I also turn my ring when necessary. Life is too short to save things for "special occasions" :winkiss:

well depends on where you're going I think. I wore mine to Hawaii no problems. But when I went to Mexico, I didn't wear my ERing, just my two wedding bands. I do have mine insured for the full amount spent on all the rings but prices have since skyrocketed on my ERing diamond (ideal cut solitaire, VVS1, color I) and I know there's no way we could afford to replace it if it was stolen or lost. My ERing is gorgeous and I'd be very sad if something did happen to it.

If you are concerned enough that you will be worried while you're on vacation, leave it at home. Better to be overly cautious if it preserves your peace of mind- vacation is supposed to be relaxing!

I have an insurance policy that covers my diamond rings, diamond studs etc anywhere in the world so yes, I do take them on vaca...I just never take them off (to shower, swim etc).

I wear mine everywhere - I guess I feel like they're safer on my finger than in a drawer at home. I'm probably too lazy to take them to a safe deposit box before I leave town, and go get them again when we get back.

I have a travel ring that I wear when I go overseas.. it's just a plain white gold band. In the usa I wear my rings no matter where I travel... The only place out of the country I will wear my rings is England as my parents live there.

I actually decided to get two wedding bands when we got married. I have a diamond band that matches my engagement ring, and a plain platinum band that matches my husband's band. Both of my bands were blessed at the wedding ceremony. So, when I know I'm going to be in a sketchy area, or if I'm worried about losing it (like when we were in Amsterdam's red light district a couple of years ago), I wear my plain band.
