I share a lot of your sentiments @OCMomof3  You are so blessed to have a daughter:heart:. I have 2 sons, so either their wives gets my bags (assuming they marry lol) or they will sell them gift them when I'm gone.
I have two boys too so no one appreciates my handbag collection. I don’t think their wives would appreciate either so I’m happy giving the items away when I’m gone if they don’t want it. I’m almost at the verge of selling my bags mainly LV (started collecting since 2005) and Chanel (since 2010)….but like many tpfers mention, all the pieces have a happy memory

I’m inching toward being over it but I’m not completely there. I am a monogram girl. Had the Caissa years ago in DE cuz that’s all it came in. Never really clicked with the print. The brown strap cracked, the bag was just uncomfortable to me. Sold it. I am trying to like DE now because I really don’t like many of the monogram bags and I don’t want to carry all leather. I like Odeon MM tote. I’m also thinking about moving to a piece in Azur but I’m terrified of the color transfer issue.I live in SW FL so it could be year round piece for me. The nautical Neverfull is stunning in person. I think Azur is prettier than Ebene. The YK collaboration is a hard nope from me. The last bags I was super excited about were loop hobo and Montaigne. I have many wallets and they are all in great shape.

@nvie I've actually thought of that. They may not want them lol. Well I do have 1 niece who loves LV and everything designer. I've already gifted her Gucci, Fendi, Longchamp bags, shoes and wallets. She has already told me she loves my SpeedyB 25 in DE, so she can have it. But the ones with most sentimental value are my first pieces gifted to me by my DH 20 years ago for the birth of my 2nd son. Those are his and he can sell/donate do as he pleases.I have 2 trunks and one for each son, so at least they have those to keep as a memory

I sold 4 bags and a wallet in the last 2 years. I don't miss those at all. They held no sentimental value.

@ChampagneandChakras don't be afraid of colour transfer unless you plan on wearing Azur with black jeans. It's a lovely print for spring and summer:smile:

I would love to inherit your trunk, if no one wants them ;)

It’s always nice to pass things on to someone who appreciates them like your niece.

I sold everything I had (6/7 items) from LV last year and I don't regret it. It took me maybe 2 days to sell everything and for a good price. It was stuff I bought back in 2008-2010.
I really don't get why people are still so crazy about LV, especially the classic monogram canvas which, in my opinion, doesn't look good with anything. And the denim canvas is even worse. But I was happy I could sell it easily.
Maybe they love it because celebrities wear it... I don't really follow so I don't know the reason.

I like the monogram as a neutral. I dont like black bags so it works for me. Now I’m thinking about Azur next. I don’t like the denim. I personally like what I like for me, not because of a celebrity. I want to sell some but I’m too lazy .

Then move on, we don’t need your opinions how you feel about monogram. I don’t follow celebritie, especially the male celebrities. I admire from what I see on the streets.

I’m quite the opposite… I’ve come back to LV after not buying anything from them for over a decade. I also used to be a member of this forum in 2007, and I’ve returned because of the Kusama collection… which I think is the type of collection that could be described as juvenile and “for the Asian market”. I think LV is giving me something that Chanel doesn’t just now: fun and unique designs. I’m a millennial, so not particularly young… and while I dress age-appropriate I’ve always liked my clothing to be a bit more fun than classic. To me, spending a lot of money (and woah how prices have changed since 2007) on an accessory or clothing is more about buying something that hits the sweet spot between unique/fun and classic. Maybe at this moment in life I crave more pumpkins on canvas than quilted classics…?

If you go for the Neverfull in DA nautical it should be fine when wearing light shirts or blouses and over your shoulder where it doesn’t rub against dark jeans. What is a problem is a DA in crossbody like the Croisette which sits lower on your hip. I love DA  And I also love my DE Odeon PM Tote!!!
