Anyone Put on Red Protective Soles?

I recently bought my first pair of CLs and have already taken a chunk out of the bottom so I was looking on Ebay at the red protective soles.

Has anyone done this? How do they look? How do they wear?

I would also appreciate it if you could post of PM me where you got them. I noticed the soles look like they are different brands and I don't know how to spot a good one.
