Pretty much all my boots are from Aldo & I LOVE them! I find them to be of good quality. I have several pairs of Nine West shoes & boots that were such a disappointment (sorry if you love them) in terms of comfort, fit, & quality. All my Aldo footwear have lasted me for years. In response to the comment about only fitting narrow feet well, I have to disagree. I have wide feet & it's been Aldo shoes that have fit me the best. Now if they'd only make quality leather purses...

I have around 6 pairs, and haven't paid full price for any. Their heels are PAINFUL, even chunky platforms. I like their flats, but I still have to put dr scholls in them to make them more comfy. I hate that they don't have half sizes, and they are definately made for narrow feet. I'll only purchase more flats never their heels.

I recently bought a pair of boots from there but ended up returning them because they were uncomfortable even when I was just walking around my apartment! I honestly think you can get more value for your money with all these sales going around.

You will find Aldo in every single mall here in Canada! I love thier stuff but sometimes i can't justify spending full price on their stuff! All my Aldo shoes have lasted me years & they always have nice stuff! I like the selection of bags & accessories as well! I usually find that they don't really have great sales either. Most of the shoes or boots are pretty comfortable. I recently bought a pair of leather boots (they reminded me of CL) & they fit kinda weird that my toes went numb the first few times i wore them! Now i have kinda broken them in a bit more!

I used to buy Aldo shoes but never will again. They are overpriced for their quality. I've owned over 20 pairs and noticed that the leather wore out quickly, the heels became uncomfortable after a while (you get a false sense of comfort initially), and the lack of padding on some shoes really annoyed me.

My advice would be, buy a pair on sale so that you can see how Aldo works for you and if you like them continue purchasing from them.

I only had bad experiences with Aldo shoes. They're horrible quality - The last time I bought any of their shoes was about 8 years ago. Almost every heel on the shoes broke and I found out it was quite a common occurrence with Aldo shoes. I used to buy their shoes because a couple of my mom's friends' kids worked there and they get a commission on their sales. They even told me that the common complaint from customers is that the soles tend to detach from the shoes.

Aldo shoes are so-so. Luckily, in my city, we have an Aldo outlet, and most of the shoes are $25 and under. I bought a pair once for $14.99 to wear when I was a bridesmaid, and they matched my dress PERFECTLY. I'd never pay full price for a pair, and I'm lucky I have such a great outlet nearby.

I did buy a pair of black round toe, patent stilettos for $50 for the office two years ago, and they are still standing. I just had the shoes re-soled in the very beginning.

I think it really depends on your shoe size and width. I've had Aldo shoes since I was in high school and I still buy them. It's really nice leather, really nice designs and it won't kill my wallet. I still have a pair of suede boots and I can't let go of even though they're so dirty. They're held up for about 4 years and so comfy. I'm thinking about getting them re-dyed.

I have over 30 pairs of aldo shoes. They are my everyday, wear to work and such shoes. I can wear their high heels for 10 hours and be fine. Most shoes fit to lose, but this ones fit just right. I do have to go one size bigger than normal though. I think how much cheaper they are in comparison to designer shoes, they are worth it. I don't have to be careful with them bc I know I didn't spend a fortune. I don't have dress boots from them, just winter boots and they are OK.

I think they're very uncomfortable... but I couldn't resist their recent sale and I bought a pair of shoes for $29. I ended up putting inserts in them to make them more comfortable but I don't plan on wearing them out for long periods of time (too risky, might end up painful!). I also find that sizing up tends to make the shoes more comfortable since their shoes run short in the toe-box area.

I have one pair and they are made in Brazil. I wear them to places where my shoes have a chance of getting ruined (crazy vegas clubs, bars where they throw peanut shells on the floor, etc) since I didn't spend a lot for them. So far it's been 5 years. They can take abuse pretty well.
