Hi. I hope you are recovering nicely from your surgery by now. I need your advice. I’m in the process of booking my DES surgery in early September at Wink. Did they ask you to wire 10% of the quoted price to confirm the booking? I thought I read that they accept credit card as a form of payment when I go for my f2f so I was caught off guard with their ask. Asking to wire funds makes me a little suspicious. Can you share your booking experience? Thank you!

I'm considering Wink and Ilac and I heard both doctors can speak in English.

The doctors can speak English but the administration can't unless you know how to speak Chinese you won't have any issue. Otherwise you have to hire a translator for 2 hours at least that I was told by Wink.

Do you guys or anyone on here know if Wink does all four types of canthoplasty: medial epicanthoplasty, upper epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty? I want a big change to my eyes, so I'm looking for a surgeon that is good at both DES and all four types of canthoplasties.

I’ve seen a few people saying they wouldn’t recommend for Wink if you’re wanting big changes because dr Choi’s work is on the conservative side and only enhancing the natural eye shape, if you look at the before and after pics on wink website, it’s mainly really small changes

I consulted with them in July, the consultant feels a bit cold, but I think also because they don’t really have an english speaking consultant. I had to contact all their channels to get a response lol but I didn’t really care because in the end i need the surgeon’s skills not the consultant, so that’s okay for me.
I sent them my photos, explained what i want and mentioned that i plan to get my surgery done very soon. So they started talking to me and I managed to book the surgery.
It is actually today, I will write my review after some time.

Only chinese and japanese. One of them speaks ok english but if you want to go through the consent form properly, it’s better to hire one for like 2 hours. You won’t need them post-surgery

I used a Russian speaking translator, she speak only korean and russian. I don’t think that works for you

Just got DES revision with ptosis correction with Miho and I like the result so far. The doc is kinda perfectionist which i really like, focuses a lot on symmetry.
