Anyone has experience with Wink?

I got my surgery at Wink end of May. He suggested I did sub brow incision and that was what I got. It has been 2 months now and the scars healed nicely and I could not be happier. I went to Wink because of this forum, and when I did face to face consultation, Dr Choi speaks perfect English and I decided to do it. I only asked to get my old eyes back and slightly bigger if possible. I got the latter. :)

I had a consultation with Dr.Choi from Wink, he spoke English fluently and made some recommendations although I believe they were leaning towards creating more natural looking eyes.

Yes I believe so as well. I am 48 female asian and my eyes were slightly droopy. My eyes were quite big with double eyelids. I would think of my procedure as more of “restoration”. I asked if possible maybe make them slightly bigger - he said he will try but can’t guarantee. I think he did at the end.

I also got botox on crows feet and between brows as well as chin for my walnut chin. Very good price in my opinion and very natural result. My peers could not tell what I did and that is exactly what I want.

Now in month 3 of ptosis correction and incisional DES from Wink. Pretty disappointed to be honest.

I think Wink is better for older people if I’m being honest, since the before and afters ive seen from, for example, ahnest kitchen looked amazing but for me, the crease just isn’t visible???

First of all, I saw my desired results within week 2 of the surgery, and I messaged them asking if it was normal and they said the swelling doesn’t go down too much from there. As the swelling started going down more and more I started noticing that my eyes were becoming hooded or appearing like monolids. Once again, I messaged asking if this was normal and they sent me a lazy reply stating that the final result should come at month 6 and I should ask for a revision if I was still unhappy. So far it looks nothing like the result the doctor proposed from the consultation and I honestly don’t believe getting plastic surgery in Korea is a good idea anymore due to foreigner pricing. I’m looking into Japanese clinics right now so if anyone has experience in that area lmk.

I’ll share two photos of my eyes just to give context. I got the semi outline btw.IMG_6581.jpegB443B329-2CFE-4AFD-BB5F-0DC44AF13818.jpeg

I had actually had one monolid and one double eyelid before, with the double eyelid crease changing everyday. The doctor had said that he’d be able to deepen the crease, alongside providing a consistent double eyelid look. Here’s the before

I think have a chat with the surgeon as he seems pretty honest and go to a few other consults and see what their opinion is. My friend went to a supposedly really good Korean surgeon that only does revisions surgery but I dont think he advertises to foreigners so you would kind-of have to do your research. Eyelid surgery is super risky I find as in so many things can go wrong. I found he was on the more conservative side so it worked for me and probably older patients who want to be on the safe side. I've had friends with monolids that had surgery but then they needed like 3-4 surgeries after to correct it because things kept going wrong, something to keep in mind.

Yeah I’m 100% going for a revision regardless, that’s why I said he’s probably better suited for older clients since as you age your eyelid fat tends to lessen. I still think to have an appearance of no double crease at all is an insane outcome to have considering I used to have one double eyelid so I’m not too sure how that happened but idk. I’ve been messaging them but they’ve given me blunt replies . Guess I’ll have to wait .

Sorry just read at the top it’s incision 😃
So why are you getting the incisional? Heard that wink specialized in non - incision?
Also may share how much for the procedure you did?
Thank you

Has anyone here completed their surgery with wink and can help me figure out how to send the 10% deposit using wise? Getting confused if I am putting the bank’s address or Wink’s address under recipient address
