Anyone familiar with Smythson handbags?

I received what appears to be a Smythson Picadilly handbag/briefcase from my in-laws recently, but looking at the price of these bags, I have doubts about its authenticity. I know it was purchased at Century 21 in NYC and that my inlaws wouldn't intentionally give me a fake bag, but I don't want them to have been scammed either.

I was hoping someone might know what markings, etc I could look for to ensure it's real.

Century 21 is a legitimate store so that shouldn't be a concern.
