Anyone ever purchase at farfetch.com?

I really have to let my anger vents from the experience of returning to Farfetch.com. I ordered a Valextra bag from them and it turned out not to be my liking so the second day after I received it I asked for return it. It was sent out from FFT Houston. I cannot get a return label online so I called their customer service to ask for that. An customer service lady emailed me the return label the second day so I just packed the bag carefully and dropped it off to local UPS. After two weeks, the package was sent back to me!!!!! UPS tracking showed “ the receiver has moved” and the cannot obtain a new delivery address to deliver it. So I called the customer service again, and they gave me another return shipping label and guaranteed this time they gave me the correct return shipping address, and after five days, when I checked the status of my return package, it showed “the receiver has moved” again! I cannot believe this is happening, so I called the customer service the third time, and they said they will contact UPS directly to ship to the correct address. I am still waiting for their response. I will never order with them again, lesson learned!

I'm debating on placing an order but am hesitant on the possible customs/duty fees. The shoes are come out to $200 and will be shipped from Germany. Can anyone help with how much to expect customs fee to be for shipping to the US?

items below $800 are duty free, besides Farfetch always ships DDP (delivery duties paid).
watch for your state sales tax though, now it's rolling over and many retailers started charging it (net-a-porter for example).

I just purchased some Saint Laurent high tops with them. They were much cheaper than anywhere else with a 20% discount code, arrived quickly and are perfect. Really pleased and will definitely shop with them again.

I ordered a Proenza Schouler which was in the sale and a great price. It was shipped but because I wasn't in I had to ask for a re delivery a day later. When it didn't arrive I checked my account and the package had been recalled. I called CS and they said the Boutique had put the incorrect price on the site and thus recalled the bag. They didn't calm to advise me of that and I am annoyed the bag actually got sent out. Although I got a refund I had to call CS to get the postage refunded. I don't think I would buy from there again as clearly they are just a middle man that is essentially a web site with no control over the items.

Anyone bought from Vietti Crans Montana in Switzerland? I bought a bag from Farfetch and this is the store that shipped the item.

Also, has anyone experienced receiving fake bags from Farfetch?

Hi, could you help me with order to USA? I would like to clarify if I will order a jacket for 2500$ from Farfetch to California, may I pay some other taxes&duties or?
I live on East coast, but it seems that CA charges sales tax on every internet purchase, you may see it during checkout. there shouldn't be duties as FF ships DDP (delivery duties paid).

Finally have a lukewarm experience with Farfetch.

So I received a damaged bag and communicated with Farfetch extensively on the return. Farfetch offered me 10% discount, which I refused. Farfetch themselves organised the return during my phone call with the Farfetch representative.

Boutique received the bag, and Farfetch sent me an email that the item is damaged and asking me if I received the item in this condition.

Probably no biggie, maybe the customer service representative who handled the report from the boutique did not review the correspondence between me and Farfetch.

However, this means a further delay in my refund.

I tried Farfetch for the first time during the busy November shopping season. With all the sales of my favorite brand I found a nice item on their website slighter cheaper than the official merchandiser's own sale. I made the order from Farfetch, paid, and about 10 days later I get an email letting me know that the item is not in stock. By then the item I wanted to get was sold out at the official merchandiser's website. It's been a week and I'm still waiting for my refund. I tried that site once and I'm not going to use them again.

I took the plunge and ordered from them about 2-3 weeks ago. Didn't have any problems even if I had my order shipped to a different country.

Hi! How much did the taxes cost you? Im from the Philippines as well and im thinking of having my order shipped to a US address via Shipping Cart then just pay the latter to ship to the Philippines. Did the package arrive on your doorstep or did you need to pick it up?

Farfetch is a store front which fulfills mostly through boutiques. That is why at times, the prices fluctuate, check Wikipedia for more information. At times you may receive merchandise directly from Farfetch London, but mostly it'll be from the merchant who is stocking the merchandise. It's similar to Garmetory.

I've never not been satisfied with them other than the sliding price scale.

I’m from the Philippines, though I’ve not used Shipping Cart. I once used Johnny Air with Farfetch and I picked up at Megamall. Anyway, my other purchases were directly via DHL through Farfetch. Anything above P10k is dutiable/taxable. For leather items, I roughly add 35%-40% to cover the duties, because it’s DHL that will bill you for these.
