Anyone else tired of black handbags and adding colour to their collection?

Well, black is still the new black, but red is popular as an accent. So is leopard.

Try black with gold hardware. It's chic and adds a bit of visual stimulation.

All of my bags are colorful. The only black bag I have is a black/black cambon pochette which I find really boring. I would love to get a Juicy Couture black leather bag though!

Most of my bags are black, so the last few I've bought have been on the colorful side. I've got a green Kooba, a MJ hobo in Geranium coming and several brown bags as well. I'd like to find a nice red bag.

i used to only have black bags, but i've stopped carrying them, and sold a few.. now i only have coloured bags!

but not super-vivid colours, those are harder to use on a daily basis, i find...

eg i have a red epi pochette which i rarely use, for that reason.. (i SO want to trade it for a mandarin epi... bellabags? *grin*)
and i had a turquoise bbag, same deal..

right now i use a small muted light green CK, a sable (beige w touch of pink) paddy, and am getting a pale rose pink bbag..
= colours which are almost neutrals, for my wardrobe..

Kezza and Gucci Gal:

How are you going to wear your green bags?

I stepped outside the box when I bought a Phoebe in Olive this year (love the color), but have yet to figure out how to wear it. I don't have any olive shoes (although am looking...). Most of my work clothes are black, brown, tan, gray and ivory (boring, boring - I know!!).

Ideas?? :shrugs:

I have stayed away from black all my life because all I could ever remember is my Mom carrying the same black cheap leather purse for years on end....then she'd get another equally cheap and bland black purse...and another.
So....I finally got over my angst. I only have one black purse. A Botkier Bianca but just yesterday I bought a Black Kooba Keira. I decided it's not so bad after all....in moderation...LOL

i don't really have a black bag except my chanel which is the greatest black ever :p
i always think of brown as my black
I'm the exact same way. I personally prefer brown bags over black ones. Still I think I'm going to get one black bag this fall (or try to at least.)

Hi there,

My closet is full of neutrals has well but, the shade of green that I got seems to go with everything almost. Olive is beautiful but, a tad bit tricker. With Olive pair it off with neutrals and warm tones stay away from cool colours like blue, silver, and fushia and you will be fine. Post a pick I love olive colour.
