I have written my bad experience with Carolldiva regarding my Balenciaga a few moths ago. She deemed my authentic city fake, because of the leather sample swatch that Balenciaga gives with the bags. She did not know this fact, and insisted that this thing means a fake bag. I would not recommended her for Bals, this shows lack of knowledge.

I've used Caroldiva several times for LV and I think she's great! Quick turnaround and she's good about answering questions or giving out information about nuances between years of bags. I've been very pleased with her service.

I send the a request for a lv authentication but have yet to hear back anything.. From what I have read the horrible and you can't get in contact with them. If you dont have a customer service phone number for people that do not want to wait for an e-mail you are not doing something right...my opinion..

Hi everyone, I posted a similar msg (see below in red) on a few threads cuz I really want more people who have been cheated by MP to report them so they can be shut down! I have since opened a dispute with WePay to try to get my $ back from MP.

FYI I can't post my bag in the forum to get it authenticated cuz i'm a new member and it says I can't have a full account till I post more than 10 msgs... so meanwhile I'm just trying to get more people to report MP. Sorry if I'm spamming some msg threads!

I bought a Prada bag on ebay and wanted it authenticated. I have seen the mypoupette logo on a few of the ebay auctions, so I thought they were legitimate. But I submitted an authentication request to mypoupette 2 weeks ago and paid up promptly but NEVER got a reply! I feel stupid after reading all these issues on mypoupette cuz I should've checked on the forums first! Only found your forum after a friend recommended it. Alas, too late cuz I already lost my $ on mypoupette and also missed the dateline that the seller set for returns if the item was deemed as fake! =(

I have reported the company to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaints Centre (website here ->http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

Can I ask that everyone who has been ripped off by mypoupette also report them so that we can shut them down and stop them from cheating more people!

I didn't even know My Poupette was still in business. She let the whole thing slide into oblivion several years ago.
I guess she just takes money now and provides no service....
Shame on her!

Hello
If you want to authenticate your Prada bag, use this page.

http://forum.purseblog.com/prada/authenticate-this-prada-please-read-post-1-first-717898-345.html

Good luck

did you pay for your bag via paypal? or off ebay? it doesn't matter what the sellers return policy is if you bought a fake you should be able to return it. If you didn't use ebay or paypal hopefully you used a credit card, that should give you 45-90 days depending on the card to file a chargeback against the seller.

hopefully your able to get some more posts in and then you can open your own thread and get help from more members here

Wow---so sorry to hear that SO MANY people have been ripped off by My Poupette! That is criminal. They should definitely be reported to the BBB and the Internet watchdog authorities.

It's nice that we can use TPF for free and get fast and knowledgable replies. After reading this, I don't think I'll ever pay for an online "authentication" of ANY item.

Yup, I got ripped off.
Sent $ and photos...nothing
6 weeks later I get an email with an opinion (too late) and a complimentary authentication.
That week I emailed another auction.
NOTHING from them, ever again.

I then learned about Caroldiva, who was very kind and helpful.
Then I learned about TPF, which is my favorite and by far the best IMO (not because it is cheap but because they are fast and helpful here).

Really am a fan of CarolDiva. Sometimes she gets back to me the very next day. Always spot on, knows her stuff and is friendly. Great service for $7.
