Ever Notice on their auctions there are FAKES? I didn't either untill I got it in the mail, took it to LV, and they said it was fake. The LV store told me that they are in no way affiliated with mypoupette.com and I should return and report them. WELL, they dont take returns and according to them it was the sellers fault and they just advertise them on their site. SO, I went back to the LV store with all the info, and they reported it to the head office. Two weeks later I got my money back :)

1. This thread is nearly two years old.
2. I can't imagine LV reporting this to their head office, let alone caring. No offense, but LV doesn't do things like that...

jenaywins -

sorry but you are wrong.
they care very much!!! they are very aware of the woman and her MyPoupette.com business. i know someone that got a bag from one of authorized sellers and it turned out to be a fake, too! she had taken it to an LV store and was told this. she was told they did not know this person and she was NOT authorized to authenticate any of their products. she had a little note on her site that said that she was in fact authorized to do these - and she had all that info removed after this so i know they contacted her! but of course she came back later with something similiar but worded very differently.

^^ Very first time I've ever heard of this happening. I'll have to ask my SA about this, very interesting.

It does beg the question, however... If LV is well aware of this, being the huge and powerful fashion house that they are, why is this person and her small business still operating and, as I understand it now, scamming people?

Also, if the timing was simply coincidental in terms of her removing the "info" from her site, can you actually be sure that LV direct had something to do with it, or are you only assuming?

this is no assumption i can assure you. it was not coincidental at all. she had been scamming people for a long time and threats had been made to try and get money back paid to her and she NEVER made a move like this until she was forced to! as to why she is still allowed in business - i have no clue. she is not my concern now that i know the real deal about her.
