Anyone else getting excited about Sylvie?

I think it's great, and knowing you just a little, a very good choice. The leather shoulder strap will be great at turning it from fashion to classic and easy to wear.

Go for the colour that makes sense to you.

My reckoning: the blue/red web-stripe doesn't stand-out so much on the red but it's such a vibrant bag anyway. The black has both green/red and blue/red going on so still has plenty of interest and the ivory is more 'French' because of the tricolour strap and also TDF IMO but also difficult for obvious reasons. I think my heart would go towards the ivory.

I have plenty of smaller vintage bags like this and can always jazz them up with a ribbon. I'd prefer if they were 28 or 30cm wide.

My heart is also pining for the white/ivory one the most- like you said, the strap colors go beautifully against the leather and my eyes just go right to it when I look at all the pictures in this thread and elsewhere. But it does scare me a bit since I've never had such a light-colored bag...

Red is also gorgeous- and I actually don't have any red bags either (crazy, huh?) so either color would be a great addition to my collection. I will visit the boutique in near future and see which one "sings" to me! That could be totally different, it happens to me every so often.

I will take pics if I can- meanwhile I would love any other pictures, opinions, and most of all reveals/reviews!

I'm thinking black or red. I have a white-bag phobia , just can't seem to ever buy one then use it. So most likely, I'd gravitate towards the red. Too many black bags for me.

Oh I don't blame you. Like I said above, I love the white one the most- but I do have a bit of irrational (or perhaps totally justified?) fear re: white bags

I think it really shows how versatile this little (but not too little!) bag is, the way it works its way seamlessly into so many different outfits/styles, and it's just come out.

I'm loving everything Gucci right now, and the Sylvie is a beautiful bag! I was scoping them out last week. I love the size and shape of it, small enough to feel playful and fresh, but still a nice functional size with a bit of vintage flair. I obsessed over the white, but am scared of denim transfer, I'd love to have the red or the navy!

The bag is surprisingly light and is an easy smallish size but not too small, so , , and

I love all three colours! I think the white is the one that attracts me the most but living in a very rainy country, perhaps the red or the blue would be better.

The white too unfortunately. Although, I actually have a few white bags but I think the smooth white leather of the Sylvie will particularly difficult to maintain.

There's a bright sugar-pink in the mini and the top-handle, that's the only colour that wouldn't work for me.

This is all theoretical though because I can't really justify another bag, I am packed to the rafters
