I prefer to use Damier piece when I go to work because not everybody knows it’s LV. Only 2 people that I know in the office (of more than 100 people) have LV bags and they don’t even take them to work because they think LV is too fancy for the office. I use my Monogram pieces more often when I am out and about.
Anyone else feel somewhat embarrassed about LV?

This past year at work I’ve been rotating a lot of my LV’s ( not MC or WC yet lol) and I do get some comments. Ironically most of the comments are about my DA bags but they’re positive (I love your bag, it’s so pretty, etc.)I’ve started to care less about what other people think but I do like to stay under the radar at times. Maybe I’m crazy but I feel LV (some bags) are almost a “neutral” - at least where I live. I saw a thread the other day where someone said they would feel under the radar with their their Chanel jumbo but not with their Speedy. I would never carry my Chanel to work - that ubiquitous gold chain just screams for attention more than the LV canvas imo. I think a Birkin is even more under the radar lol! Nobody dresses up down here when they carry them so if you don’t know Hermes you’d think it was a Tar-zhay bag. [emoji41]
Wow didnt know there was a forum for this question lol! im NOT embarrassed to carry my louis vuitton turenne at all, I notice a lot of girls are carrying "coach" and "Michael kors" in my home state of California, and they act like snobs! but when they see you have a LV purse they get all jealous! and stare hard at your LV bag, I always tell friends n family I buy purses that I like! but unfortunately the ones I like are LV, YSL, HERMES, VALENTINO,CHANEL ETC.....DONT BE EMBARRASSED, those silly jealous girls that STARE should feel Embarrassed.
oh by the way i went to back to school night this week and when i walked into my lil boys 3rd grade class all the moms were staring super hard at my LV bag, I wanted to yell at them "Yes its a louis vuitton purse! its real i can afford,thank you jesus! now get over it! and go buy one.
yes i Took my big fat pink Marshmallow purse, YSL ROSE PINK Quilted purse, To freakn Target! stood in the starbucks line for coffee, and women just stared n stared at my YSL purse trying to figure out the Brand lol im sure they googled it.I LOVE MY PURSES, and yes Ill wear my Hermes to walmart to buy a snickers bar and tampons! i dont give a Damn.Wear what you love ladys, let those insecure haters drool over your purses, its not our fault we have good taste.
I‘m not embarrassed and I carry my bag with DE print to work daily. I also use my monogram SLG‘s all the time. I see co-workers staring sometimes but ignore them.
But now I want to buy another key pouch & small LV bag but my BF is totally against it because even that I can easily afford, he doesn‘t like my addiction to LV print as high end brand. And he said that other people (including his family) would talk about me already and get jealous... That I simply like the look of LV items he doesn‘t understand and he wants me to go to more casual brands. It‘s a fight topic

It’s your money, if you love Louis Vuitton bags then buy them! The quality of Louis Vuitton bags compared to more casual bags like Marc Jacobs or Michael kors is not even comparable because it’s different materials all together. I’ve had Marc Jacobs and Michael kors to look under the radar because I know people have lots of jealous thoughts when I carry my Louis Vuitton bag but I don’t care because I love the bags I carry and I’m proud when I do. I think you need to take your boyfriend to a Marc Jacobs and Michael kors shop and let the sales assistant explain the material of the bag and then go to Louis Vuitton and ask the sales assistant to explain about the different materials of the bags and then he will understand the difference.
what kind of BF is that? he should be supportive of what you like my husband just says i dont understand anything about purses, but if you want it ill buy it for you, he wont even flinch when he pays lol.i feel like people who dont own a luxury purse, just try n make themselves feel better by looking down on the girls with luxury purses. please dont let your BF family dictate your style! if they dont like tooo bad!
Please ladys dont let anyone make you feel uncomfortable because you own a high end purse, i have a extensive collection of valentino bow purses, in all colors, and i always get compliments on them, like "oh your purse is so cute" then they say where did you get it? and im like oh its old, i got it at saks,next question is what brand is it? i answer "valentino" thats it end of conversation.its the curse of luxury purses oh well
ive got another purse story for u girls, I bought my mom a calvin klein purse that she just loved, and the back pocket was ripped! so we went to macys to return it, and the SA was running the Michael kors section, the SA was saying how the brand is cheap now etc she was snobby! i told her with a very cold tone! "Michael kors are very cheap too! 9 out of 10 girls have those purses, their made in taiwan, and quality is horrible she just stayed quiet, she was acting like she was selling Hermes purses, i just felt like she was trying to make mom feel bad, next day i took my mom to LV n pick out any purse she liked, she loved the sienna pm.LV trolls need to get a life!
Some small towns that people are live in, thinking of taking a YSL Loulou to Target is special. Isn't that like... an entry level bag? 
SAME!! Everyone thinks that I'm only carrying designer bags (and shoes) to show off my stuff. It's not my fault that everything I like tend to be designer brands. I buy it because I like it, not to please other people's eyes...
