Anyone else feel somewhat embarrassed about LV?

Oh and might I mention the SA said under her breath as she walked to the back “this woman wants a large bag and box for a cles” and rolled her eyes...I don’t think she wanted anyone to catch that comment but I wholeheartedly agreed with her sentiment and reaction
I’m surprised they obliged her silly request. At my boutique, they only give dustbags, boxes, and shopping bags to fit the item purchased.

Yes!!! I literally want to sprint to the car! I liked the old brown bag...it was a little less “hey look at me I had some money to spend today”. I overheard a woman in the boutique the other day say “can I get the biggest shopping bag you have I want to do a lot around the mall to show off that I can buy LV”...I almost gagged. I guess now I understand some people who get annoyed with the belligerently wealthy. There is a diplomatic and dignified way to have money...
That doesn’t sound like a wealthy woman

I’m not new to LV but have built up a collection. Admittedly I would be aware when I took my bags to work, out, etc. then one I say it clicked. It’s MY bag. I bought It because it’s practical, I have the means, it’s what I want, so NO I won’t be conscientious. I really think this changed at the point I bought my Melie. Yes, most expensive bag in my collection New not consignment. Just be happy. They are great bags and will remain in style FOR A LONG TIME. Just use and love it.

I’m ok with the recognisable print or people knowing I spent so much on them because, in the end I did spend a lot on my bags and that’s my business not theirs. I have a completely different reason for being embarrassed and it’s with only one bag. My Pochette Metis has the light vachetta on the handle and above the clasp. It’s one of my favourite grab and go bags. Because of a humid/rainy climate and because I wear a lot of hand cream (nightmarishly dry hands), over time, the vachetta darkened quite a bit. I don’t mind this one and actually like it but other LV owners (friends and even strangers sometimes) give my bag this “look”. Like: what have you done to it? Or what’s wrong with it? That makes me really self conscious.

But it’s loved and being used! Good for you; much better than it sitting in its dustbag, pristine and unworn! [emoji1303]
Do you have a photo? I bet she’s gorgeous!

Give the women her moment for goodness sake. Who the hell does it harm. The SA needs a hard slap for that attitude. Not everyone is fortunate enough to buy lots of LV or possibly any more than a cles.

This SA was displaying qualities a lot of PF members frequently complain about. Again, she was doing no one any harm by asking for a larger bag. It is only a paper bag no matter the name on it.
I had a friend who visited Bloomingdales many years ago. She bought a pair of socks and asked for a large bag as she was so chuffed to buy from the store, no matter the size of the purchase. The SA was only too happy to oblige. Should she be castigated for this and slagged off on a forum? Hell no.

I don't believe this for a minute.
Well that’s fine. I think if you read my recent posts...I am not a mean person. I was simply stating a situation that I witnessed recently. So if you don’t believe me that is your right. I even asked for a small additional bag for my wallet and other items when I was in the boutique as I was exchanging a bag and didn’t want to put my items in and use it until I returned home and after putting my organizer in. I just feel like there is a nice way to ask for something and an entitled way.

So, sorry if I offended you in some way as it was not my intention.
