Anyone else feel somewhat embarrassed about LV?

I wouldn't really call it "embarrassed", it is more of "uncomfortable" I guess.
And I feel uncomfortable wearing my LVs around jealous and catty neighbors, clueless and tactless relatives. I have some relatives (they don't work) who make a big issue out of me buying designer purses.

I am not embarrassed, but I am cautious to bring it for work, because before I worked in professional field, not creative ones. Other than that, I bring it everywhere, family gatherings or friends. I think each person has their own way to spend his/her money. Some love travelling, some love to go out at fancy restaurants or socialize in bars. My other friend love to go to the spa and salon (hair spa, massage, manicure n pedicure). My mom loves shoes. I love bags. I rarely travel, eat home cooked meal, rarely go out, my shoes most of them nine west or charles keith and no designer clothes. I also do my own many pedi at home. So if someone pointed out my designer bags i will tell them just that.

the only time i feel embarrassed.is when I'm dead broke, and someone asks me for money i really don't have....because then they think I'm lying because i have expensive accessories.truth is, money comes and goes.i spend when i have it.i like having something to show for my purchases.,my sister spends money on vacation and cruises, i spend it on bags.

I feel awkward around my coworkers when using different Louis Vuitton. the girls act all interested in looking at my purse when I know they're secretly trying to authenticate it.... But nowadays I just ignore it.

Lol, +1, I'M never embarrassed to carry my lv's... i have something to show for my hard earned money... unlike my sister, she prefers vacations to bags

I'm never embarrassed! I work hard which allows me to buy them and a DH who loves me and buys it for me when he can, so no embarrassment. I get more attention, good and bad, when I wear my Louboutins than when I carry my LVs.

:smile1: Thank you!!! Well, I just sue her to give me a proper way of firing which means I should be entitled of my salary December and January :smile1:. Then good riddance! Lol!

Isn't this what DE print and DA are for? I mean, Monogram is flashy, but the people who don't know LV well are the one's who will judge you on what you carry and those people look at a DE or DA bag as just, well, a "checker-board" styled bag.
