I prefer the canvas; empreinte looks luxurious but it's so porous and seems so prime for scuffing and staining. Canvas is carefree, and I find the canvas on the V tote is so supple, it doesn't seem at risk of cracking, etc. (unlike, say, the pochette metis). I love the richness of bordeaux, but I think it's very much a fall bag, and noir is a bit more versatile.

Yes although the zipper is a little uncomfortable against my armpit. I probably wouldn't be able to fit it over a heavy coat. I have worn it in the crook of my elbow while running errands.
Both colors are beautiful but I personally like the Noir with the caramel handles. It’s more neutral and matches better with more of my wardrobe than the Bordeaux and it’s a stunning color combination. I usually don’t like combining black and brown together but for some reason, this bag just caught my attention and looked gorgeous in person. So much so that I grabbed one for myself today! I think it depends on what your typical wardrobe will be when you use this bag and whether you think the Bordeaux will clash. Good luck deciding!
Thank you! The picture I took shows the bag empty with just the strap inside. I just tried putting some things in and it looks the same. It’s a soft bag but it has structure to it and I imagine that it’ll stand fine with or without items in it until it gets broken in some more. The bottom is more structured than a Speedy or Neverfull, so it’ll never slouch like those bags, but it’s not as structured as an Alma, although it does have feet similar to the Alma. I don’t think it’ll slouch as much as the Pallas, but only time will tell. Hope that helps!

Love seeing these pics. I don't have this bag but have always admired it. It looks like a very functional bag and beautiful to boot. I especially love the BB size of the bag.
It’s a good length with the shoulder strap. On its shortest setting, it hits me right at the hip. But I’m a shortie at 5’1”. I think it’s too big to use as a crossbody but it’s doable if needed. I’ll measure the strap when I get the chance to give you a better idea.
I wouldn't have known either, but it was brought up here on TPF! I think the SA was a little surprised that I was aware of it. TPF experts are the best
