Would love to see photo!
Dash cloak intrigued me--leather twilly, of sorts. Very unique!

I had time to get some photos for you today. hope these do not come out too large. My apologies in advance if they do. I am doing from my phone.

Hello from NZ! I’m traveling here and just joined the Deadly Ponies club with this beautiful Mr. Siamese midi in nightshade. Apparently the design was just updated with this wide strap. The store I went to had some with the older, thinner strap, as well as this one, and and I think the new design is a big improvement. The proportion looked off with the thinner strap.

I think this is the needle-in-the-haystack perfect travel/walking bag I’ve been searching for for years. I was close to convincing myself I could make do with a large Celine Trio, and am so glad I didn’t pull that trigger. This is so much sturdier and more functional, yet it weighs almost nothing, and the pictures on the website don’t do it justice at all. It lays beautifully against the body and looks very casual chic, though it could also be dressed up, to a degree. It could be loaded up, and then it wouldn’t look great, but it is capable of looking much more beautiful than the website photos suggest. I was torn between the rhino and the nightshade, but the nightshade made my heart sing [emoji445].

It was $599 NZD, which is about $415 USD. Assuming it holds up, and I think it will given the wonderful, thick deer leather and sturdy-looking hardware, that’s a terrific price.

FYI, I learned from the SA that only the unstructured styles are made from deer leather. The structured ones are made from cow leather.

i am thinking to get one deadly ponies bag, and seriously considering something in deer nappa leather. unfortunately my first choice of model (mr siamese midi) is only made in bovine pebbled.

can anyone advise what kind of feel the bulle lamb leather gives and how different it is from deer nappa? any this is kinda stupid, but which leather is more iconc deadly ponies, in case i only have one?

thanks

I have the Mr Siamese Zip (smaller size of the bag) and the calf leather is lovely and soft but really durable and carefree. Highly recommend, it has become my every day bag. Tried to get a close photo of the texture for you.
