Anybody getting bored with LV?

I find their "limited stock" shtick boring. I can go to Gucci, YSL or Dior and buy what I want, when I want it. And they'll bring it in, if it's not on hand. It's not fun when a LV collection comes out - like Game On, and it's all pre sold to resellers and special clients. I'm so over it. I have my LV collection and I'm happy with it as is. Don't feel the need to add to it.
This is also true, new collection comes out and everything is sold out and LV is forcing you to stalk their website or waiting on the waiting list.
I must say that Gucci is fast out of trend (imo, please don’t feel offended) and with YSL I’ve had a bad experience already. But yeah a Dior lady bag would be my dream!

Thats actually so true!
I’ve bought a XMAS charm when I was at the store, just because I knew it’s hard to find. I also got the victorine wallet, even tho I am owning Now 4 wallets ?!?! Now I need to sell 1-2 because of my craziness and hunting fun.
I also want a PA again even if I had one and sold it for 250€ in 2018. just bc it the fear it might get discounted. The funny thing is, LVs new strategy is working.
I suppose it's working on some. I bought WAY more LV when it was available and easy to buy. I'd browse the website, watch youtube videos back when people reviewed bags for the sake of reviewing (if you know, you know) then head to Dallas to buy my bag or SLG. Imagine-I could walk in to buy a Multicolore piece and walk out with it! Then I'd take my goodies and eat lunch out. So fun!!!! The current scarcity method is not my idea of fun at all, and I don't buy nearly as much as I used to.

Well, Thats so true!
I started buying LV in 2015, when I was 20 years old I bought my first LV a PA in DE, a few months of saving (I worked) I bought myself finally my dream bag a speedy 30 in DE. I noticed that you could actually get what you wanted (LEs were always hard) but other then that, you could walk in the store and buy it! But as I mentioned since beginning of 2019 LV is almost always sold out! It doesn’t matter online or at the Store. I also noticed the new age range when people are buying LV. I’ve saw some young boys and girls maybe 18 trying to go inside and look at lv and maybe buying it?
LVs new target are also younger generation since virgil abloh is also there. Don’t get me wrong, the collections from him are nice, but before my 20th year I thought lv is only for more matured people! Now I think abt that for Hermes. (Lol)

I'll be honest, their canvas pieces never really appealed to me - I did buy the pochette metis in ~2017 but after that, I was kind of over them. They felt too ubiquitious and not special. Also, I wear printed clothes so I felt the monogram clashed. However, I do really like some of their leather pieces (not empreinte though) - unfortunately, they are around the same price as chanel preloved, and I would prefer Chanel...
However, one day I was browsing and noticed the heart bag in the LV cruise 2021 collection and instantly was called by it. Since Aug/September, I've been hounding client services and CAs for it and kept being told it was unavailable to preorder etc

it reminded me A LOT of the Hermes game, based on what I've read about it. I was kinda shocked they felt the need to limit supply/or at least have that illusion of scarcity, whether or not it's the reality. No joke, I contacted over 3-4 CAs and was told it was "impossible to preorder" the heart bag, and they seemed as surprised as I was.
Luckily I was able to secure one from a personal shopper (paid slight premium) -- paid in full but tbh I won't believe I have it until it's in my hands.

At the same time though, being exclusive is a part of luxury in my eyes, and DOES make it feel more special, even though I hate admitting it.

Not sick of the items but sick of all the drama and limited, limited, limited stories you have to deal with in order to purchase something. ( I'm, in Aus ) Honestly, I work full time and am lucky to have five minutes spare to myself so I don't want to spend my spare time texting, calling and pleading with an sa to sell me something. If I see something available on their web site I like then I might buy it but otherwise I'm over all the drama.

Soooo true !! Sooo over drama ! End of the day we are the buyers but feels as if we have to suck up to SAs to get even a card holder. !!

I got a little bored of seeing so much of the same LV bags everywhere since the demand is so high for certain bags. I actually paint mine so that they are a little more unique and stand out. I especially do that with older bags so I really feel like I can have a lot of fun with them. Other bags I've added keychains or handle wraps, but by far the paint is the most unique and gets me stopped pretty much everywhere I go. lolAEEC36E8-3C34-4403-B5F7-375BA974EEE4.JPG
