I found that comment off topic and of poor taste as well- you're very sweet to come to my defense!:tender:
Faith, I know this response is a little late but I just read this thread and was not only shocked but appalled at the comment about your signature. Not only do I think your timeline signature is NOT graphic at all it is in no way worthy of a "grossed out" smiley. Please do not even consider changing it! I think it is an honor that you are willing to share your miracle with everyone. I do think in the spirit of the purse forum you should also post some modelings pics of you and your newest accessory.....your ever changing baby bump!!!!!! LOL! it is what most celebs are sporting these days!! Congrats on your pregnancy and know that you and your hubby are truly blessed!:hugs:

Thanks for the sweet comments and support, ladies! You are too kind!

(And my apologies to the OP, for unintentionally hijacking her thread! :flowers:)

I wear mine daily and maybe sometimes when I shouldn't like when cleaning and gardening. I clean it fairly often and it sparkles like crazy.
Why are you afraid to wear it? Is it loose? Is the stone large? My center stone is just above 1/2 ct so its not big enough to get in the way of my activities.

Since I take all of my jewelry off when I get home for the day, sometimes I run out the next day, or stay home the next day without my e-ring or my band.

My husband doesn't mind, he doesn't even notice. 12-13 years ago, I got a new setting for my diamond, and finally, 2 years ago, he asked me, "when did you get that'?!!!!!!

Worse yet, 6 months later, he asked me the same question!

He's a pretty preoccupied guy most of the time.

Hmmmm, maybe I can go get a new one now, and he won't notice until our 30th anniversary (in 10 years, LOL)

I think if you don't feel comfortable wearing it due to past experiences, don't!! Yes, fiance spent money and put thought into it, but he knows how much you appreciate him. My friend is a dentist and can't really wear hand jewelry, so her DF bought her engagement earrings, which she was more comfortable with.

Definitely make sure it stays safe though, keep it in a very foolproof safe so you can treasure its beauty forever :smile1:
