Any married ladies just wear your wedding band?

On most days, I wear my diamond eternity band on its own. It's actually my 5th wedding anniversary band -- platinum, 3.20 total carats of round ideal cut diamonds. It stands on its own and if I pair it with my engagement ring or my 3-stone, it just looks too dressy and a little flashy. I like how the band looks alone -- simple and elegant.

If I'm going out to a nice dinner with DH or if I'm hanging out downtown, I will wear my 3-stone ring together with my anniversary band. A bit flashy, but it's fun to do once in awhile.

I usually only wear my wedding band on the weekends (running around, hanging around the house). I wear both my engagement ring and wedding band for going out and going to work.

I wear both of my rings together because I think it looks nice plus I like to have both of them with me at all times!!! I have a friend who doesn't wear her original engagement ring and band because she has a kid and doesn't want the rings to scratch her child. So, my friend got a third ring that was more simple but has diamonds and uses that on a daily basis. I have another friend that wears a gold Hawaiian band daily instead of her original wedding set for work reasons.

I work for one of the most exclusive jewlers in Kansas City and I would say that 75% of the women who have HUGE e-rings also have good size eternity band that they stack with their actual wedding band when they are traveling or just don't want to wear the huge rock.

I also encourage women who are upgrading to maintain some part of their original set. Many simply solder a 1 or 2 mm portion of the original band to the new ring.
