Any married ladies just wear your wedding band?

^^ P.S. I have also hinted around to DH that I would LOVE another diamond band someday for a significant anniversary... not to replace my engagement ring, but just as another band to wear next to my wedding band, since I love the stacked-bands look so much. :)

Your band is beautiful!

Lately I have been wearing the five stone anniversary band that normally goes on my right hand on my left hand, and wearing the garnet/diamond birthstone ring my hubby bought me for my b-day last month on my right hand. I kind of like the look of just the band on my left hand.

for work, i wear a plain gold band that my dh gave me as an anniversary gift years before we got married. i constantly handwash and apply hand lotion at work so i prefer to wear this one.

on my off days, i wear my wedding ring, which has a center round diamond w/ 3 little round diamonds channel set on each side. we opted not to have a 2-ring set, but i've hinted to my dh for a simple wedding band w/ diamonds for our wedding anniversary. :graucho:

I have a set of 3 platinum and diamond rings that are my e-ring (diamond oval in platinum), a thin platinum band, and an "eternity ring" of platinum with diamonds scattered all over it. I wear at any given time: one at a time, two in combination or all three.

I wear my e-ring every day, I feel weird without it! The only time that I wore just my wedding band alone was right after the birth of my kids (to prevent scratching them with my e-ring stone). The only time I take my rings off are to clean them or shower, they are on my finger the rest of the time!

I work in a hospital and have to wash my hands constantly to maintain sterility.
I never wear my ring to work, so that's 5 days out of the week right there that the ring just sits in it's box....On days off, I only wear it about half of that time....
I do wear a wedding ring every day...have a bunch of different ones ( I even buy some of them myself)..I coordinate with my outfits (yellow vs white gold) and have built up a cute little collection of wedding bands for myself.
I have one eternity band wedding ring and that also never gets worn to work..

I have the same wedding band too ashlend and I always wear it alone, I actually like the dainty look of a thin wedding band by itself....I feel it looks very feminine..
My husband doesn't even notice.....

My DH bought me a beautiful Chrisitan Bauer diamond band for our 1 year anniversary. I like the way it looks by itself as well as with the diamond eternity band that is my wedding band. I've always thought about wearing the band alone because I like the simplicty of it but I always feel bad about not wearing my ering. My DH also prefers that I wear the ering as well since it was a big step for him to purchase it.

here's a pic of the three together.

have the tiffany eternity band -- wear it by myself at the gym. try to remember aud. hepburn didn't have an engagement ring, just an eternity band that she wore.

My wedding ring is less likely to be damaged than my engagement ring, so I wear it alone if I am doing something active. I can be clumsy, so it's best to leave the high-set, more expensive ring where it's safe!

I also just wear my wedding band -a plain platinum band + promise ring before we got engaged, a Tiffany Etoile diamond band platinum. It's very elegant and I like stacking bands together.

My beautiful e-ring's in the safe deposit in the bank. It seems I've taken on my mom's style of just doing bands. I admire her and her style VERY much so I do follow some of her leads.

I also saw a spread Jennifer Aniston did for a fashion magazine (when she was still happy with Brad) and she was wearing two bands stacked together and I thought that just looked SO cool! She could've been flaunting her crazy diamond, but just went for simplicity, which is totally my style!

However, 5 year anniversary coming up next year and dear hubby wants to buy me a 4-row Tiffany Etoile diamond band!!! I'm so excited because it's very beautiful! However, I will want our jeweler to design it because it'll probably cost a lot less than Tiffany's insane markup!

I am not marrried, or engaged yet but I can tell you what my mom does. She has a really pretty diamond soiltare in yellow gold that is a little over a karat. Her original wedding band is just a simple gold band, but recently she upgraded to a yellow gold band with channel set diamonds. Most of the time I see her just wearing the band (with channel set diamonds) - much more practical. She wears the e-ring too when shes looking for a little more bling! :smile1:
